Emergency Evacuation of US Gulf Coast Imminent?

When the first reports broke, multiple websites were attacked for reporting on an imminent evacuation and now, a month later, this possibility is widely accepted. The Washington Post has even quoted Matt Simmons as saying, “20 million to be evacuated.”
In an article dated June 13, 2010, Infowars discusses the very real possibility of an Emergency Evacuation of the US Gulf Coast. These evacuations may be held off until after a hurricane.
Greg Evensen, a retired Kansas Highway Patrolman, estimates that 30-40 million people would need to be evacuated away from the Gulf’s coastline (i.e. at least 200 miles inland). In order to accomplish this gargantuan feat, the federal government (through FEMA and other agencies) would most likely seek first to control and manage the transportation system and then operate relocation centers to manage evacuees. Toward this end, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has already declared the airspace over the oil spill site to be a no-fly zone until further notice. Various sources have indicated that local police, highway patrol, National Guard, US military and foreign troops may be involved in an operation to evacuate the Gulf Coast. In fact, the Governor of Louisiana has already requested evacuation assistance (i.e. National Guard) for his state from the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Our country has been in a state of national emergency since September 11, 2001, which means that martial law (i.e. military rule) can be declared by the President at any time, for any reason – large, or small. If martial law is implemented, evacuees will lose their ability to determine when and where they will move and for how long, since the normal protections of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights will have been suspended. To put it bluntly, a scenario in which evacuees are forced to live in relocation centers for an unspecified length of time is not unlikely.
Further, a recent FEMA, Department of Defense, the National Guard, state agencies, and local governments National Excersise called Alaska Shield, Vigilant Guard, Arctic Edge Prepares Alaska For Disaster, preparations were made just weeks before this Gulf Oil Disaster, as excerpted in a public news release.
Planning for Alaska Shield 2010 began immediately following Alaska Shield 2007. More than 4,000 participants from 51 organizations will take part in this joint exercise.
“This exercise allows FEMA, Department of Defense, the National Guard, state agencies, and local governments to be integrated and work together when they respond to a disaster. It will be an orchestrated response, integrated with one another and complementary to each other’s abilities,” Campbell said. “Alaska stands ready for this significant exercise, we appreciate the work of our partners, and I ask that as the exercise is taking place, each individual Alaskan take steps to increase his or her level of preparedness before a disaster strikes.”

i know the guy said 20 but realistically there are more like 40-50 million people that will evacuate the gulf coast states areas due to the oil disaster there…i have a map where i’ve been marking the individual locations and areas reported to have oil washing up on beaches, in freshwater aquifers, oily rains, corexit plant damages and burn holes, respiratory illness reports, corexit burn skin rashes and dead pets and sealife/aquatic kills…and now suicides and suspicious “drowning” deaths related to BP. the map is quickly filling up. i have to add more red shaded areas and little brown x’s to it daily. if you’d like to contribute something to this time capsule of info, please mail your newspaper clippings, printed articles, photos, etc of the oil disaster to: Frontier Motel, P.O. Box 948, Granby , CO 80446 …for inclusion in the Gulf Oil Spill Disaster Scrapbook for Posterity that will show our grandchildren what life was like before the internet went down and what happened to our land and ocean before & after the shtf!

The fact that BP (and not your president) is running the show and has implemented a complete media blackout in the gulf as well as forcing cleanup workers to refrain from using protective masks is shocking. This suggests that they want people to die. I hope and pray that Americans stand up to the criminals who put you into this mess! This is what happens when you allow wall st. to run your country. Those guys only have one God and that God is money but as we all know – you can’t eat money, nor can you swim in it’s deep blue seas or lay on it’s beaches. The toxic smell that you are smelling in the Gulf is the smell of money! Kick the criminals out of power America, retrieve your freedom of information laws and insist that every means possible is used to stop that spill. Don’t let the criminal oil companies win. All BP profits should be handed over to the people of the Gulf. That would show them. You know who they are just google who owns BP… and while you are at it, arrest Bush and Cheney. No hope of that happening though.
When is this so called evacuation I’ve read/heard on talk radio much about lately supposed to take place??Or is this fear mongering. All these websites will lose credibility if they’re wrong. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.
Just wait until late August when waves of black and red poisonous oil and dispersant lap the shorelines. Sitting in the hot sun the toxic stew will evaporate and form deadly clouds killing plants, animals and sending people to the hospital. One omenous fact I’ve read is that all Exxon Valdez clean up workers have died. No one has lived longer than 53 years of age. The lone guy (a boat captain) a survivor has repeatedly put out request for anyone who worked in Alaska cleaning that oil to contact him. Sort of like a class reunion. Guess what? He’s got no responses.
Here’s the bottom line. If the relief well works, and they have two, the Gulf “might” have a chance of recovery in 2 to 5 years. If the oil is still flowing and Santa Claus gets oil on his red pajama’s…we’re all screwed.
It really doesnt matter if or when, this evacuation takes place. The governments point is, you can either evacuate now and take what you can carry, which means your guns will stay at home. Which is just a by-product of this false flag, Gun control. Or you can stay and live a few more months-years, then die a slow painful death, like those emergency workers in NYC who have died since 911. Either way the southern coast will either be controlled by the government or it will be a dead zone. The main purpose of this fiasco is of course, ” Cap & Trade” !
This is all for cap and trade. Obama stood on the golf course trying to hit the ball he could not, while oil was spewing by the thousands. He turned down 30 countries who wanted to help and had the proper equipment. What does this tell you? Go figure. Obama is NOT in the clear. He stands with BP. This is also an opportunity for him to create a police state which he has always wanted. somewhat like HITLER? Go figure. Thank you.
I am curious about the large numbers that are being stated as the number that will have to be evacuated. When we are talking about 1/16 to 1//8 of our total population that sounds like a lot for the affected area, even including the whole state of Florida. I am not disputing it but the percentage of the whole population of the country seems high for percentage of the total land mass. Has anyone seen anything that indicates how far back from the coast that will be evacuated?
If Martial Law is ordered by our usurper el presidente, then this country will be in bigger trouble than any time since the civil war. The dept of fatherland security will begin their roundup of “our right to bear arms” and it will force people to either go down fighting or give up their “God-given right” to bear arms and protect themselves and their families.
A police officer told me last year that under “no circumstances” should any citizen give up their firearms!

As a Coast Guardswoman, I can tell you that THERE IS NO EVACUATION OF THE COAST PLANNED!!
I would recommend that any doubters of the scale of the “problem” in the gulf and the “deception” that is being perpetrated on the American public by your Government/EPA/BP and who knows what other “agencies”-look at some of the videos on http://www.bob-mitchell.blogspot.com I cannot say any of this/these are 100% right or factual,i would just ask people to look at them and if anyone from the area affected does recognise them to be truthful/factual(remember how the EPA said the “area” around the Twin Towers was “safe”? Are YOU feeling ill around the oil spill area?) PLEASE leave a comment. I would also say to you to be VERY discerning about the “Naysayers” who dismiss what IS happening as “Conspiracy Theories..” as i think these are the VERY “people” who DONT WANT THE TRUTH to be known,it is not conspiracy to be informed.. i would like to know about the stuff bp is using to so called (eat the oil up) i heard stories about that.have you noticed if you live on the east coast or southern states they put up barrials on all interstates on both sides.does are goverment not want us to leave?people wake up and ask yourself these questions at first i couldnt beleive it and didnt want to.but now good greif whats going to happen.
