Thousands in Gulf Suffer from Misdiagnosed Skin Lesions
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana—Area residents have begun to show up at clinics and hospitals with mysterious scabs and pustules covering their extremities, as reported from residents to non-profit relief organizations in the Gulf.
One thirty-three year-old woman, who wished to remain anonymous, has disclosed to Project Gulf Impact that upon seeking medical advice at a clinic, she was told she had scabies. Hours later, she was told by an area hospital that she had a staph infection. The woman was treated with a shot of penicillin and Elimite cream, a topical agent for the treatment of scabies mite infestations, and an oral antibiotic. In addition to the lesions, the woman reported aching bones, weight loss, stomach pains, inflammation in her leg and sties developing in her eyes.
Lesions, like those featured above, are being experienced
by adults and children in Louisiana.
Other residents have shown up at local doctors and area hospitals reporting similar symptoms. According to area residents suffering from the mysterious rash, patients feel like they are not being given the proper medical treatment. Doctors have told area patients they are suffering from scabies with no clear diagnosis and from Staphylococcus infections with no underlying cause.
Exposure to chemicals, such as those being used to break down oil in the region, like the dispersant, Corexit, may be the cause of such infections. Corexit is an agent that has been proven to break down lipid membranes, which cover and protect human skin. Human skin is composed of a thin layer of lipids and Corexit, by nature, breaks down these organized barriers into smaller individual molecules allowing the barrier to become permeable to pathogens. The skin irritation could be caused by prolonged exposure to these chemicals and could break down the ability of the body to fight off infection.
Economic conditions in the Gulf have left many people without health insurance, leaving them with little recourse in terms of medical care. Noted Marine toxicologist and Exxon Valdez survivor Riki Ott first reported the effects of dispersants on July 7, 2010 in The Huffington Post.

Careful with the commas. The snippet “Human skin is composed of a thin layer of lipids and Corexit,” might lead some to believe that Corexit is all-natural.
Gulf Spill Syndrome is the term so many would be afraid to claim. Yet how else could one describe it. What happened here that has not already happened in other parts of the world. just as in asia and in persia they unleashed there chemicals on their enemy and the innocents, then tell them everything is fine. These doctors are even willing to sell their soul to the nwo and lie about the cause. See gulf war syndrome, agent orange, chemical warfare, when will amercans wake up and see we are already at war.
Conditions across the planet are being made to look so terrible, so dangerous by the ruling class elite in order to make the corporations and the governments around the world look so incompetent that the sheeple will eventually beg them to give the people the global government that they have wanted all along.
When you first hear that the people have had enough and start begging for this system to be implemented, time will be very short to get the hell out of their way.
Interesting they shuld subscribe thses patients scabies medicine. They treat people with morgellons the very same way. Or jsut tell them they are crazy. wow this is really strange for the medical people to do that because it looks nothing like scabies.
I’m from Ohio and get this every year for the past 3 years being in my backyard! Stop itching!! I got this when I was 12, too, from being in the woods! I don’t know the scientific term, but I always called it “chiggers”….. Nothing but fear mongering! We have enough to worry about w/o phony crap! Hot water, don’t itch, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide! that’s the remedy.. Here’s my disclaimer…I’m not a doctor — just a suggestion. I can’t be held liable for this comment under law…… blah, blah, blah
Ohio,
People are literally super sick in the Gulf I will not stand for people making things up in regards to thousands of people being chemically raped. Basically people are so scared of the real news they just call facts fear mongering. It is actually very funny. I see it all the time. When it comes true those people that left the comments are no where to be found, why is that? Oh yeah thats right, the public is preconditioned to believe that anything the mainstream news doesnt report is just fear mongering.
Hope you really look into this and see how bad it actually is. Thanks for checking out the site.
What is there to say? When it feels like no one listens anymore. Or when it feels like the doctors play along with the games. When our whole world is manipulated and WE DO NOTHING ABOUT IT! F&$#@($& @#$()!!!!!!!!!!
Look up MORGELLONS DISEASE
In about 20 years of “research”, & around a Billion $$$, ‘a cure’ will be found…! Doctors are REAL GOOD @ ‘confusing the issue’. As it make’em more $!
They’ll NEVER tell you, that, “If you get a cancer diagnosis, just take a teaspoon of baking soda & mix this with an 8 ounce glass of water, & drink it.
Do this for 6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks, go get a ‘cancer test’…
You see, cancer, “can not live, in an ALKALINE Enviroment! And will die”!
With this in mind, ‘do you now SEE, what’s really going on’? It’s all about the $$$. And, NOTHING MORE! It has been written that, *”In a couple of years, people will be ‘dropping like flies’”! Sure, just CONFUSE the REAL ISSUE!
Then it’s E-Z! Like taking candy from a baby…. Mo $. Mo $. MORE $$$$$$$$!
I’m well aware, of the ‘folks in the bayou’. I’m one of their relatives, who lives in Tampa Bay. They’re just simple folk! While we don’t always agree on some issues, I’d NEVER, “Poison their well”! Aren’t there ‘others’, who are KNOWN, for this?

Incriminally Sane, right on
The quote: “If you talk the talk, then walk the walk”, comes to mind when I hear so much about how the crude oil is not toxic. It isn’t enough to fly into a pre-selected area, visit with a few selected locals, and then fly back to safe surroundings. That is all SHOW. Dr. Riki Ott has been living on the Gulf scene since the beginning of the oil spill. She is one who “Talks the talk, and walks the walk”. All my respect goes to her.
BP’s deception comes as no surprise to any of us. Please American people think about it: If there had been no explosion in the beginning, would we have known about the gushing oil from the well? How many of the abandon oceans oil wells are gushing oil? Shouldn’t here be an agency that monitors all oil companies’ drilling action in our ocean beds? Oh, that’s right, there is! However, just like BP, Exxon and the rest of the oil companies, government official agencies are busy covering their lies,
Crude oil continues to invade the Gulf; as BP, the US Government, and other official agencies monitoring the toxic crude, continues to FIDDLE. That is what I called the Dance of Deliberate Deception. No one will come forward with the intestinal fortitude, and declare the obvious – that crude oil is toxic to breathe. I have been told by OSHA that a medical study cannot be conducted until after 6 months of exposure. WHAT? There have been 21 years since the exposure of the crude oil in Prince William Sound, and no one is listening. So, after 6 months of workers in the gulf breathe in the crude oil, a study can be conducted? That leads us to believe that the government is holding up the rug, while BP sweeps known reports under the same rug, and the other agencies conduct the Dance of Deliberate Deception on top of the rug.
President Obama, how about admitting that the crude oil is toxic, and demand BP provide respirators for the oil cleanup workers, and compensation for the Gulf unemployment caused by the disaster.
In 1989 Exxon told the cleanup workers the same story, that the crude oil is not toxic. Some of us are living proof of the toxic exposure, and many others have died. The 21 years of my health issues should be an example that crude oil is toxic. Please view the YouTube video, and help get the message to Gulf residents, BP crude oil cleanup workers, respirators are necessary on the Gulf oil cleanup.

Annie H;
I am glad you see that the “System” is only stealing your money when they give you Cancer, there has been MANY CURES for Cancer since 1934 when Roland P. Rife created his Frequency generator and cured 13/13 terminally ill Cancer patients.
Since then there have been many other absolute cures for this dreadful, yet PREVENTABLE disease. Diet, nutrition and state of mind can do wonders to prevent most diseases.
B-17 (Laetrile) is another that the FDA does not even allow into America, Tetra-Hydro-Cannabinol or the active ingredient in Marijuana is another cure but the FDA wants DEAD PEOPLE, NOT LIVING ENTITIES!
Check out the Georgia Guidestones, they tell you in several different languages that they only want 500 million people to remain on this planet which means 5.8 BILLION people must die before the year 2020.
Which side of the grass will YOU be on come 2020?
This is exactly why I stopped going to doctors for ANYthing. They don’t observe, they don’t listen, they are arrogant and think they are better and know better than you. Doctors are literally brainwashed in medical school to disregard the value of vitamins, herbs, minerals and to think that the patient is an idiot. Why would I go to a doctor who doesn’t appreciate my intelligence and ability to solve my own problems? Why would I waste my time or money on such a person? Doctors suck. If I had a broken leg, I think I’d rather try to fix it myself than go to a hospital. I am serious! I’ve known TWO people who ended up worse out of the hospital from a broken leg. No, make that THREE people. Two ended up with AMPUTATIONS, and all three got staph infection. The state I live in has a medical school that generates rich kid doctors who are more interested in the title than in actually helping anyone.
If you want real help, I’m sorry folks, but you’re going to have to work for it and become your own healer. You can no longer rely on people who call themselves doctors. Thank you for the excellent article by the way. Please continue to feature Kindra Arnesen as much as possible. I don’t have a lot of time to read all the hundreds of articles/news that comes out everyday, but when I see Kindra, I stop and watch because she’s a fighter and a hero – and so are the many journalists and reporters who are keeping up on the real news. Thank you Activist Post!!
Also, I wanted to ask reporters to please get more video of the actual health impact of people on the residents of this region. We all respond more to visual proof. Hearing Kindra talk about her lesions was sad, but when I actually SAW the sore on her hip, my jaw dropped. If readers/viewers can SEE more of the evidence, not only will it have more impact, but this footage will last forever and can be seen 50 to 100 years from now. Future generations will have the HISTORY that you provide. It’s very important to document it now. Thank you!
Twenty years ago 450 miles of Los Angeles and beyond were sprayed with the organophoshate pesticide Malathion. The above photo, is what my skin and several others looked like. As all pesticides are made from petroleum waste products, the corexit being sprayed adds insult to injury for the people in the gulf and the rest of the planet. These poor people in the gulf are truly suffering and we must have the greatest compassion for their loses, immense pain and frustration. Doctor’s in CA were told not to treat patients coming into their offices as a pesticide poisoning but as “something else”, because the poisoning starts out as flu-like symptoms and then progress into the places in the body that are most vulnerable. Doctor’s were warned that their licenses would be revoked if they reported it as a pesticide poisoning, so, like what is happening in the gulf, many people just died from brain stem tumors, and all variations of other cancers. Many more left with chronic neurological diseases.
