Full-Body Scanners Installed at Lindbergh Field

NBC
By Eric S. Page and Monica Dean

Workers at Lindbergh Field have begun installing the full-body scanners inside Terminal One.

The scanners, which are being placed in 11 airports across the country by the end of the year, are funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Transportation officials will be demonstrating the technology in San Diego on Tuesday….

The machines allow security officials to look underneath the clothing of passengers, producing a three-dimensional black-and-white image that reveals detailed outlines of every body part. Screeners view the images from a remote, enclosed area.

Aside from the personal privacy issues, you also stand in a booth while ALL of your pocket contents go down the belt. Traveling on my own means that I’m losing sight of my possessions.

I worked for TSA for 5 awful years. I never met more despicable, untrustworthy people. I would no more trust TSA’s assurances of “SAFE” radiation levels and no “screen captures”, then I would trust Charles Manson. Rotten from the top, former DHS HEAD Michael Chertoff is THE saleman/PROFITEER from these scanners.
“Integrity, Team Spirit, Innovation” is sewn around the border of the newest TSA patch. Have you EVER seen an organization that had to SEW A REMINDER not to STEAL, LIE, and CHEAT on their own shoulders!!!! They STEAL from the “confiscated” items, BACK-STAB the PASSENGERS (and their CO-Workers) and “INNOVATIVELY” CHEAT on their own tests.
Supervisors PADDING their hours to make house payments.
    Supervisors staggering in drunk.
Supervisors yelling all NON-Christians should leave the country
Supervisors expressing their desire to see certain U.S. Senators DEAD
    Real good organization.

We are funding our own demise. Former DHS head Chertoff has a company that has contracts for scanners with the federales. Some coincidence heh?

People need to educate themselves. Request a pat down and make them earn their money. I for one will not increase my chances of cancer to make their jobs easier.

Now from the personal privacy issues they say the image will not be stored but how did they get this one??? Now replace the person who did it for a trial and with her permission fully knowing what would be seen with your teenage daughter or daughters or son or sons and now how do you feel about those images being out there for any one to get a hold of and posting on the net.I myself won’t fly if at all possible. If I have to then I will opt for the pat down.No image to be taken and maybe posted who knows where or used for what purpose. You have a better chance of winning the Lottery, getting struck by Lightning, dying in a Car Accident, bit by a Shark, stung by a Bee or falling down some Stairs then ever being on a Plane that is being Hijacked.

Now how do you feel about going through the Scan ???

These people being interviewed are nothing more than foolish, naive sheep. I travel regularly and I will NEVER, EVER go through one of these things. I go for the pat-down every time… you should too.
