Editors Note: Of course the FBI was grooming this pasty for terror! This is a perfect example of how staged terror actually works. The only difference between this and other actual attacks is that the FBI choose to supply Mohamed Osman Mahmud with a fake bomb rather than an actual explosive such as the one given to a mentally ill extremist to bomb the World Trade Center in 1993.

The FBI’s elaborate sting operation that led to the arrest of Mohamed Osman Mohamud for allegedly trying to blow up a fake car bomb during a crowded Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Portland drew praise from many quarters. But Mohamud’s defense attorney and some Muslim leaders questioned whether the FBI tactics went too far, essentially “grooming” the 19-year-old Somali to commit a terrorist attack.
PORTLAND — FBI undercover operatives helped fund Mohamed Osman Mohamud’s would-be terrorism plot to detonate a car bomb during a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony on Friday at a crowded public square in the heart of the city.
Operatives helped him find components needed to create a bomb and schooled the 19-year-old Somali-born man in how to set off the explosives.
The sting operation enabled the FBI to amass a formidable amount of details about what a grand-jury indictment Monday charged was Mohamud’s attempt to use a car bomb as a “weapon of mass destruction.”
But Mohamud’s attorneys and some local Muslims are raising questions about whether the operatives who posed as co-conspirators played their role too well.
Follow @IntelHubDefense attorney Steve Sady questioned whether the operatives were “basically grooming” Mohamud to try to commit a terrorist attack.

Yes, and the FBI is famous for setting people up (Michigan/NY this year)by recruiting/training & then boasting how they ‘stopped’ a terrorist attack.

This kid bought a plane ticket to work the summer fishing in alaska. Sounds like a great plan for a young neerdowell. He was denied boarding, and sent back home. I would assume a summer of outdoor labor would have done this kid some good and perhaps made him a valued member of society. Instead they sent him back to his crappy apartment to stew and started grooming him 2 weeks later for this fake terror mission. Now my taxes will be used to wharehouse this knuckelhead for the next 60 years.

Get somebody who is already mentally affected and you can groom this person into everything you want.

I got the same thing when I tried to post a couple things from here. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!! Lately, Facebook has been cutting off my words in posts too. I use my face book page for REAL news, to keep my family & friends deeply informed. Wasn’t it not that long ago that both Facebook & Google met with Gov’t officials to talk about Privacy rights, etc??? Now suddenly it seems Facebook is starting to censor left & right!!! Could be a coincidence, but now-a-days I would not be shocked if the two are related!:-)

The media did NOT report on the violence prone, extremist, elements which which were OPPOSED by the Citizen’s Militia. Look up the FBI’s “Project Megiddo” report, and in that look up the “united States Theatre Command” which was HEADQUARTERED in SANILAC COUNTY and whose “commandant” was David E. Rydel, SANILAC COUNTY resident. the Friend and Business Partner of Virgil Strickler, the SHERIFF. The Oklahoma Bomb SHOULD have ushered in a “STERILIZATION” of Sanilac County. Most of Sanilac County’s “officials” belong IN Guantanamo.
Sanilac County. PROUD HOME of the OKLAHOMA BABY BOMBERS. Even the SHERIFF Strikler was tied into the MILITIA. The “FUMBLING FEDS” did a %$#@ LOUSY job of “investigating”, and the journalists did also. Worth Township there had a Supervisor flying CONFEDERATE FLAGS at his house, until he had to hide them. For years the Sheriff AND State Police regularly walked past his black-painted lawn jockey holding a Confederate flag as they entered his house to socialize.Cowardly TERRORISTIC Governmental attacks on citizens is the NORM up there.
They “courageously” bomb villages and jail teenagers in their “not-really-a War on Terror” half-way around the world,
yet they never did a THING about the support system for the OKLAHOMA bomb.
They grabbed two idiots, but left the DOMESTIC TERROR infrastructure untouched in their own back-yard.
It is not so much grooming. The Muslim patsies are invited to assist in a “security exercise” (for a small fee of course.)
When they pres the button, or pull the trigger, they suddenly become the terrorist of the day. When they go to jail they are threatened with dire consequences for themselves and their families if they open their mouths.
