Having Heirloom/Non-GMO seeds can provide you food and a means of bartering. PLEASE DO NOT FEEL OVERWHELMED ABOUT GARDENING. There are tons of ways to grow food in a small area. Container gardening and Square Foot Gardening are two examples of ideas. Your local library may have books on the topics, but you can also find them on amazon. Also learning how to save seeds and canning/storing food is important. Seed to Seed is a book that is a very easy read and full of information on a ton of plants and how to save their seeds.

Learn about wild edible foods in your area. Many so called “weeds” are very nutritious. The process of learning to identify, harvest, and prepare these edible wild foods could really come in handy.
Learning/growing herbs and medicines may also be needed if you are currently dependent on meds. Again, knowing proper identification, what part of the plant to use, and how to prepare it is going to be important.
If you have a yard, invest in EDIBLE LANDSCAPING. Rhubarb for example, not only comes up early in the spring year after year to be harvested, but can also be divided into more plants after a few years of growth. Having plum/apple trees, berry bushes, herbs can all reduce your bill at the grocery store. Not only does gardening save you money to garden but it is exercise too!
If you live in an apartment you can still grow herbs easily and do a few container gardens.

Learn to cook

Getting a handpump on your land or your own well could also be an option, although wells may need a electric power source, unlike hand pumps.
Make a solar oven. It’s cheap and if things get tough you can still heat food/water.
Learn to sew.
Have a source for knowing basic medical info. Not just webmd, but a book that you can refer to if the net is shut down.
Diversify your sources of heat… Unless you live somewhere warm (lucky you) having multiple heat sources is a good idea. Fireplaces that are efficient are actually a “green source” of heating.
People often think silver, gold, guns, and ammo is the answer, but who is profiting off of these things? I do think these may be used as a form of barter, until the nwo new currency is put in place.
Gaining more independence feels good and is bad for the profits of the people that survive because of our dependence.
Here is an example. I know a 65 year old lady who still gardens, cans, and chops her wood for heat through the winter. Not only is she healthy and vibrant, but she is very happy.
For too long we have detached from realities of life. Where does our food come from, where does our heat/electricity come from and how dependent are we???
Even if nothing bad happens in the near future, what about 20 years from now? With the way social security is headed it may be wise to have your own food source and water source

He never mentioned collapse by Dec in the recording. But if the consensus becomes Dec we probably are going to have one. Another expert told me November. I am going to put 9000 in the stock market temporarily by selling some of my silver. I think this will be the easiest money I have ever made because I know what is really going on. Most people do not have a clue and if you try to tell them they think you are a nut job. I will be converting my profits quickly into silver soon as I get them.
