Seattle King5 and MyNorthWest.com Covers Simulation Showing Radiation On West Coast
The Intel Hub
April 5th, 2011
Multiple mainstream media outlets have picked up the Norwegian Air Institutes simulation showing radiation on the west coast. This is a major development that shows that The Intel Hub(among many other wonderful alternative news outlets) was days ahead of the curve in reporting a simulation by credible scientists.
While the scientist who was quoted downplayed the possibility of radiation hitting Washington, the article does admit that the group of scientists who put together the simulation ARE credible.
“The animation was put together by scientists at the Norwegian Institute for Air Research. It’s a credible group that studies atmospheric patterns. Mynorthwest.com had University of Washington atmospheric science professor Dr. Dan Jaffe take a look at it. He’s considered one of the best at understanding trans-Pacific air patterns,” reported King 5.
The article that appeared on MyNorthWest.com labeled those who do not believe the governments radiation readings as conspiracy theorists.
“Conspiracy theorists believe the public isn’t being told the truth about the actual radiation risk and computer models like this prove that. They see those down-playing the risk as part of some giant government cover up.”
The sad reality is that their is an extremely high probability that the government is down playing the risks, in fact every single government ever involved with a major radiation release has hid the true dangers of the disaster from the public.
Here at The Intel Hub we have reported on the Japanese nuclear disaster from day one, and will continue to report real, uncensored facts.

Know one ever gives any explanation of any of theses charts. Its just look at the pretty colors. Can you guys explain the measurements that are on this chart. I know your point seems to be dogging KING, which is obvious at what they are doing but no one is explaining the levels of radiation on the chart. So, in all honesty, it seems that both the Intel Hub and KING are just using it for an attention grabber. I listened to that Tokyo interview the other day, and it was like the guy was cut loose because he wasn’t giving the interviewers what they wanted. But really, I want to know what the chart radiation measurements are and maybe how they are dynamically is equivalent to us in comparison to other things today. Do you guys have that kind of information on this sight. Because if you don’t provide that kind of information wouldn’t that be the same thing as the local news? I appreciate your help in the matter with the chart, it would help. Pardon my frustrations.
Actually no i wasnt trying to dog King5 at all. I am happy that they at least covered this story. yes they called us conspiracy theorists but o well.
Im glad they covered this.
As for the levels, just look at the video see the radiation measurement that its using and then look it up. Ill put it in my next article.
The person that was live from Japan was only ABLE to be on for 5 mins. The commercials are automated so yes when the break is about to cut us all off we have to hurry him up.
“The commercials are automated so yes when the break is about to cut us all off we have to hurry him up.”
Totally(?) off topic, Alex, but don’t you see this as part of the deep conditioning that the majority in the western world have fallen into – especially Americans?
Anyone outside the States would think that ‘Commercials Are God” as every US news program from CNN upwards seems hogtied when it comes to advert time – bizarre really when you actually get down to thinking about it…seems to me a very clever (Tavistock/Reese/Bernays) mechanism to mess with peoples heads (ie: cognitive dissonance) ;-/
If you think helping pay for running an independent news outlet and radio network is brainwashing then all i can say is wow.
Hey thanks Alex, just trying to figure this out, I haven’t been able to find something that fits the scale on the video so, I am kind of lost as to how much radiation could be hitting the Portland area.
Thanks
As long as our economy and banking is dominated by stupidity and bling and tradition, I will worry. That is not “threat” falling from the sky and flowing from the Fukushima drain. It is highly poisonous and carcinagenic radioactive material thousands of times as concentrated as any risky thresholds of exposure. That is “guarantee”.
Great job creating this site. The Intel Hub rocks hard!

I found this very good question.

“Are the current “safe levels” of radioactivity set by governments for drinking water, milk and food based upon external emitters? Or upon internal emitters?
I mentioned the radioactive iodine found in rainwater in the U.S. and pointed out that the Canadian government is refusing to test milk (conveying internal emitters into the body) for radiation, based on the statement that radiation levels in the air (i.e. external emitters) are not all that high:
Dr. Busby responded:
The current risk model is based upon external acute radiation at high dose rate, the Japanese A-Bomb [i.e. from measurements of the effect of external radiation on the residents of Hiroshima and Nagasaki]. It is incorrect for internal and this was discussed at CERRIE but the implications were so alarming that the government sacked the Environment minister Michael Meacher who set up the committee and shut it down before it had finished (or even started) the research it was doing and also brought legal threats to bear on members so the final report is a whitewash, even though it concedes the problem exists and that the error may be as high at 10-fold. In fact, there is plenty of data and studies that show the error is from 500 to upwards of 1000. But this is not for all radionuclides, only some. The ECRR (http://www.euradcom.org) has studied this issue and provided risk model for internal emitters.
In a separate email, Dr. Busby told me that the standards for radioiodine are about 20 times higher than they should be when it will be taken inside the body, and for certain radioactive particulates, up to 1,000 times higher than is safe.”
