Dr. Mark Sircus: Planetary Awareness (Comet Elenin)

This is a follow up to the article, “Bad News From NASA.”

It could be that Elenin is small or big but I imagine it is safe to assume that it exists and that we can trust NASA at least that far.

Since I don’t have a space taxi to run me alongside it, we will have to wait for it to come closer to the neighborhood of earth for us all to eventually see with our own naked eyes what is going on and what is going to happen.

Since publishing my essay, “Bad News from NASA,” we have started a family discussion about these events and of course have been getting lots of reader feedback on my blog and plenty of personal emails, even some directly from NASA, which I will share today.

Someone complained about my use of the word “bad” in the title of my last post but I thought it was the opening picture that was over the top. Some castrated me for being an alarmist but this entire story is alarming.

My wife takes up the position of devil’s advocate and also the position of the masses who don’t want to know a thing and bury their heads in the sand. She said to me yesterday that she would rather not hear about end-of-the-world threats and would rather live fully and then……… what? Just die of course.

My son did not like that path and has been busy doing his own research. He told me that the Russian astronomer who discovered this comet, Leonid Elenin, says it’s just a small rock so don’t worry. Very important information though is the date of discovery, just December of 2010.

If one takes the NASA flight path model and flips it and watches this on the horizontal plane then one sees that this comet, if that is what it is, is plowing through the solar system and right now the asteroid belt in a way that one might hope could destroy it.

But Ron Baalke from NASA just informed me that,

“Even though the asteroid belt has millions of asteroids, it is still mostly empty space. Lots of empty space, in the scale of millions of miles! It’s probably difficult to relate to something like that for the average person, since there’s nothing even remotely close to the scale of millions of miles in our daily lives.

On a highway, the cars are a few feet to dozens of feet from each other. If you expand the highway out to several millions miles wide, then the empty space involved is mind-boggling. We’ve sent several spacecraft through the asteroid belt. Not only did none of the spacecraft run into any asteroid, but they carried detectors that would detect impacts from micro meteoroids, and they detected surprisingly little. Most of the spacecraft that have gone through didn’t even get close enough to any asteroid to be able to image it, and that would require a flyby of distance of within 100,000 miles. So if you go through the asteroid belt and have difficulty even getting within 100,000 miles of any asteroid within the belt, this gives you a good idea that there’s a lot of empty space there.”

What we have is patterns, gravitational ones. The gravitation footprint of Elenin seems to be being smashed in our faces (on the earth’s mantle) whenever it aligns with us. There is no law of coincidence to cover that up.

Three huge earthquakes on three planetary alignments with the so-called comet speak louder than words.

The Russian astronomer Leonid Elenin said, “Every massive body leaves behind it a ‘gravitational tail’. It influences other bodies. Celestial mechanics has been understood for a long time, and now we have been able achieve accuracy as never before.”

So I am not sure what to make of what Ron Baalke from NASA said yesterday:

“Yes, the earthquakes are just coincidences. It’s a myth that planetary alignments will cause earthquakes. Over the centuries, some people have made dire claims for the ‘end of the world’ with devastating earthquakes, floods, etc, etc., when certain objects in our solar system line up, and have been proven wrong each time.

If planets like Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter don’t cause earthquakes on Earth, then a small comet like Comet Elenin will not either by ‘lining up’ with Earth. Comet Elenin is not a Brown Dwarf. Comet Elenin will be passing by the Earth on October 16 at a distance of 35 million miles with no adverse effects to Earth.”

It would be so nice to be able to just believe in Baalke and in NASA and to be finished with this situation. The people who say there is nothing to worry about in terms of this comet could be right. Hopefully they are right!

Anything is possible and a comet is the most probable profile for this incoming object. However, the gravitational history of this object suggests that we might have another cover-up being thrown up in front of us and that the spooky esoteric nonsense may not be not so stupid after all. We shall all see quite soon the truth about this comet.

NASA is refuting any possibility that we have a large incoming celestial body but they are not, I repeat, not addressing, in a credible way, these three alignments and the large earthquakes that came with them.

That they are a coincidence is just an opinion and a lot to swallow in one gulp. That was the entire point of my essay the other day and why I was so alarmed and firm in putting out the end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it view. NASA just saying it’s a coincidence seems rather trite but it’s understandable as long as they are accurately measuring this object to be exactly what they’re saying it is.

I got this very coherent letter from Caramia Hartley that said:

“Thank you for all your great efforts to present the truth about what is REALLY happening in our crazy world. In this spirit I was prompted to comment about your NASA article.I am also ex Military Intelligence so am aware of the workings (or not!) of NASA. Here are my thoughts which you may share or not as you see fit. You talk about ‘a large celestial body’ as possibly being ‘a neutron star,’ then later ‘a brown dwarf.’ But both cannot be right, because if it really is a neutron or brown dwarf star, its mass would mean that it would not swing around the sun in the manner shown by the simulation.

“So, if the simulation is correct it has comet-like mass, and while a close pass could cause some trouble, it would not be cataclysmic. Whereas if it is a neutron or brown dwarf star and thus of similar or greater mass to the sun, its path would show less deviation than the simulation shows, and would probably pass closest to earth on the opposite side to that shown by the simulation. That would cause “end of the world as we know it” events.

However, it is unlikely to be a neutron or brown dwarf star. If it was either, we would be feeling its presence strongly right now when it is only around 2 AU away, according to the simulation anyway. Conclusion: We are most likely looking at a close comet visit as per the simulation.”

Another reader insisted that if it were a star of any sort there would be even greater damages and effect already from its close proximity. In the case of this comet we “only” have three gravitational alignments with huge earthquakes happening in synchronicity —Can this be mere coincidence?

We still do not have an explanation of the sun coming up two days early over the horizon. But we do have increasing earthquake activity with the earth experiencing an unusual spasm of moderate earthquakes over the last 24-hour period.

And the ancients have not gone anywhere and they and the Holy Bible are telling us that this has all happened before. They even found Noah’s Ark! And we have all hell breaking loose down here on our planet in terms of violent climate change, earth activity, strange animal and fish die-offs, and humans acting in strange ways.

Personally I don’t believe in coincidences but I will watch and continue to finish my retreat/survival center. To be wrong on this would be absolute bliss though and I could use a vacation from all this doom and gloom.

Imagine the joy of having to deal only with financial and economic collapse and all the chemical and nuclear pollution and the medical insanity and the floods, etc. We could consider ourselves lucky without an end-of-the-world extinction event.

Life is going to be hard enough anyway with food shortages, economic depression and violent weather. We certainly don’t need a dark star to come ripping by dragging our oceans above our continents for us to further complicate things.

Certainly we already have enough reasons (like catastrophic food crisis) to be buying survival superfoods not only are they good for our health, they also make exceptional medicines and protect us against radiation as well. I am still wondering why the government has been so busy building underground and why they have recently been buying so much survival food.

Toward the end of the world, mankind will be purified through sufferings. This will be true especially of the clergy, who will be robbed of all property. When the clergy has adopted a simple manner of living, conditions will improve.

Before the Comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scoured with want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent by an earthquake, storm and tidal waves will be devastated. It will be divided, and in great part submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the east through a Tiger and a Lion.

The Comet by its tremendous pressure will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. [After the] great Comet, the great nation will be devastated by earthquakes, storms, and great waves of water, causing much want and plagues. The ocean will also flood many other countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear, with many destroyed. All seacoast cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease.
