Mayor Claims Quartzsite, Arizona Under Martial Law After State Of Emergency Declared During Secret Meeting

Quartzsite, Arizona, the town now infamous for arresting a citizen for speaking during a public city council meeting, has apparently declared martial law.
This, according to Quartzsite Mayor Ed Foster, happened after a secret meeting was held during which the city council voted in favor of declaring a state of emergency.
Jennifer Jones, the woman who has gone on a full scale crusade against corruption in the small town of 3,600, posted an urgent update on here blog The Desert Freedom Press.
“At about noon today, the town council, at the request of the police chief, declared an official state of emergency. Sgt Xavier Frausto was dressed in tactical gear when he and the police chief demanded the mayor get in their car,” wrote Jones.
That’s right, according to this report, police in tactical gear ordered a sitting mayor to a potentially illegal secret meeting.
The Mayor instead drove himself to the meeting which he himself later called illegal.

World Net Daily spoke with Jennifer Jones who now fears for her safety in the small town 2 hours outside of Phoenix.
“They’ve got their tactical gear on, the police chief and his sergeant,” Jones said. “I don’t know what that means. I need to get the word out in case they come here. I am very concerned for my safety.”
An Arizona Republic report confirms that Quartzite Mayor Ed Foster has indeed called the situation in his town a form of martial law but also quotes the Vice Mayor as saying that while she condems the meeting, martial law is not necessary the right word to use.
“Foster said the council had imposed martial law, but Vice Mayor Barbara Cowell said that does not accurately characterize the action. She added that the city attorney had condoned the meeting and that a recording of the session will be made accessible to the public today,” The Arizona Republic reported.
The situation in Quartzsite has been heating up as the story of Jennifer Jones and her unlawful arrest during a city council meeting has gained momentum after being covered by multiple mainstream newspapers.
The initial arrest came as Jennifer was exposing the corruption of the local city council as well as the police chief who is already under investigation by The Arizona State Dept of Public Safety.

Has it begun? Where’s the meeting point for all us who are locked and loaded?
Are you really so excited about a revolution in America? They aren’t as much fun as you’ve heard. It’s probably worth noting that, if it turns out this woman’s claims are false, the actions of the police and the rest involved here — especially with a small segment of the population who are itching for a war right here on our own streets — start to look pretty rational. Does it deserve an investigation? No doubt, and I’ll be very curious about the outcome. Should people trying to incite a revolution in America be ostracized? At the very least. Let’s hope Steve doesn’t get his wish, it’s despicable.
Right or wrong, Jennifer Jones had the floor, and by the rules of the council had every right to speak and finish what she had to say. She seemed very rational and was not raving and carrying on. The police and the City Council had no right to forcibly take away the microphone before she could finish making her point, much less forcibly put their hands on her and arrest her.
Regardless of whether Jennifer Jones was right or not, it was WRONG for the cops to try and kidnap the mayor and force him to attent an unannounced, illegal meeting.
If it looks like a duck, acts like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it is reasonable to conclude that it is very likely to be a duck.
This looks, acts, and sounds like criminals engaging in acts of tyranny.
The benefit of the doubt should be given first to the Citizen. Those in government rightly have a much higher burden of proof. So excuse me while I assume the government to be corrupt, because it most likely is, and that any citizen that is rationally unhappy about that is very probably right.
Hey, tool or should I say paid lemming, despicable is people like you who see the problem, but lack the intestional fortitude to do anything but grab your remote and continue watching TV. Our country is falling apart, and while a revolution is a messy way to enact change, it will remain on the table until our government recognizes that they are the problem. When things get as bad as this, revolution is ineviatable, and to see otherwise is to die unprepared, which is what is waiting for you. Also I think you underestimate the ability of the people to turn the course, as during a revolution those responsible will be quickly dealt with. I do not advocate violence, but you fight for your life with all you have, and we are being forced to accept slavery, or fight. I guess you like slavery, or maybe they pay you to seem this way, which is probably closer to the truth. To those who see what is ahead, remember, don’t lose your humanity, stay focused on why we are here, and fighting. Your countrymen are just that, brothers in arms. It is lack of unity which forces violence, as together united we would not need guns, but people who still see no problems are hard to unite.
It is my duty to stand against incompetence, malfeasance, corruption, treason by elected officials during a time of war and desecration of the only sacred document I acknowledge these days; The Constitution. My Constitution, the one I swore to preserve, protect and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
I offer no apologies. I do not compromise. I am an American, and will not allow communism or national socialism to rule in my State, or in my Country. Any man or women who will submit, who prefers slavery over the rough and tumble of Liberty does not have the moral right tell me or any other free man or woman to stay on our knees.

I agree with USMC. We as soldiers took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and to defend its principles against ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC! Frausto! When the man didn’t stop & I had him served with the injunction, the idiot retaliated with CPS. I still have my kids & no investigation because his call was mallicious. Why is there no explanation of exactly what led to an alleged “state of emergency?” If the mayor thinks that the meeting was illegal, why did he go at all? If he didn’t think that before he went, why would he show up to begin with, instead of having the police in question arrested and jailed, or killed if they resisted, for their illegal action in demanding that he get into their car to begin with? Did the police threaten him in any way? What the hell is going on here?

Apparently the Mayor isn’t the one controlling the city. It is controlled by the chief of police and that is why the officers wouldn’t listen to the mayor at the meeting and why they tried to force him into their vehicle to take him there. They answer to the chief of police not the Mayor.
The woman arrested was clearly saying something the corrupted officials didn’t want the people to hear. Wow, did the police chief get upset when she started telling the people they had a choice.
I found this pretty shocking but right in line with the direction planned for this country.
The mayor went to be a witness and to document the illegal act. It was the only right thing to do. It was also right for him to refuse to participate in the meeting.

Mayor Foster was trying to allow Jennifer to speak. He was unlawfully over ridden in the meeting by the vice mayor and the rest of the corrupted council.
This situation has escalated to the point where a private citizen and the mayor himself has reason to fear for their own personal safety. I fail to see how the Governor and the State Legislative Assembly can ignore the actions of this town’s council and it’s Police Chief.

I may have a few pertinent points.
The mayor can call on the military for help, specifically the provost marshal which is the officer in charge of military police for the territory and I believe all states are considered territorial as to their de facto courts. This can be a good thing for Quartzite, not a negative.
For more extensive information on many features of law and congress that are being ignored but now revealed – check on http://www.rodclassteam.com . The most recent radio shows on talkshoe.com (AIB site) are well worth the time to listen. These are dedicated researchers well into the real rules that should be protecting both US citizens and state citizens and these are two different classes of citizenship and can be one or the other. It is possible to be a state citizen and NOT a US citizen. For many this might be too drastic, moving from a democracy where you are provided for into a republic where you are responsible for yourself.
The Quartzite police chief is not the highest law enforcement office – the county sheriff is. The county sheriff can keep out federals unless they tow the mark and check with him/her on their activities. He is elected at the county level. His position is not mentioned in the article and it is possible he may be neutral and concerned with the people, not the personalities of police, which are de facto court officers and other officials.
It is also possible to enlist the aid of federal marshals with the sheriff’s approval (tacit or specific) if there is cause for their intervention. But due to military rule, the provost marshal is probably higher up the administrative chain than federal marshals.
Cool heads can prevail. The corrupt are not really wanted in place, they cause too much trouble and are not worth protecting.

This is the same little corrupt town where several people have simply disappeared and/or “gone missing”. I can think of one guy in particular although I don’t remember his name off the top of my head. He was a younger guy who liked to drink a lot once in a while and sometimes made a nuisance of himself when intoxicated, but he didn’t deserve what happened to him. The cops in Quartzsite will know exactly to whom I am referring to since they’re the ones who likely murdered him and dumped his body down a mine shaft or some such unpleasant thing. I can’t blame Ms. Jones for feeling threatened or even paranoid. She should be. She’ll likely disappear like the others.
This is what happens when you allow citizens to tote guns on their belts like some bad low budget Western. You might be brilliant and peaceful, but many people are total idiots. Give these people guns to shoot at each other in public, great idea.
I just saw the video of Jennifer’s arrest and couldn’t believe it. It is simply INCOMPREHENSIBLE that the police did NOT obey the acting Mayor’s ORDERS to release her! Now I’ve learned this out-of-control city council subsequently FIRED THE MAYOR and replaced him with the POLICE CHIEF! I don’t think they can do this kind of shit EVEN IN NICARAGUA!

It is interesting reading; and even more encouraging, that 80% of their police force would put their careers at risk to ‘buck the system’ like this!

Maybe a few free citizens will make a deal with Los Zetas to buy back a few of the 19,000 unregistered high-powered rifles (Project ‘Fast And Furious’) that Eric Holder sold them (as enumerated in the ‘we gotta pass it to find out what’s in it Stimulus Package’ [$10 MILLION in funding for this program, in 2009]), and decide to take care of some business…
TOTALITARIAN SOCIALISM is like; some town council decided that you can’t grow vwegetables in your front yard, and asseses a $500.00 fine…or, IF THEY DON’T LIKE the way you ‘look’, you get singled out for harrasment…doing 26 in a 25 zone…painting your fence the ‘wrong’ color…

Sounds like a good program because Federal Programs only have good programs.Who's this podunk Mayor compared to the magnificent planned community federal programs thought up by experts and college professors that will make everytown heaven on earth once we are completely acclimated to the new system! Some Mayor could mess things up for the federal plan so it's better to have town councils who are both stakeholders and visionaries on the same page as the federal government that will be there long before and long after these irrelevant Mayors.
The problem here is the Mayoral position.It's redundant and has too much inefficiency with turnover.Appointed councils are better equipped to keep a continuity of federal agenda in place which is better thought out in terms of development.
The government has a long term plan for America to get us out of debt and increase our standard of living so let's allow them to do their job.These rube Mayors shouldn't be allowed to get in the way of national progress.This Mayor is obviously is not a team player.
Once the rural councils are in place like in Quartzite there will be a surge in the economy and we will have no problem paying off our gargantuan debt we racked up being the irresponsible fools we are.

The petrochemical companies have been packaging our food in containers that leech synthetic estrogens and the soy products are full of plant estrogens besides being heart healthy! Our babies (if you see the video)are fed BPA plastic bottles and soft plasticizers (phtalates)
that also have been leeching estrogen mimickers,even in the teething rings.

The police today work for intel and think the mayors are window dressing. They have been shaping domestic policy for some time with the ill intent on destroying our country and killing our people. A. In addition to the powers granted by other provisions of the law or charter, whenever the mayor of an incorporated city or town or the chairman of the board of supervisors for the unincorporated portion of the county, shall deem that an emergency exists due to fire, conflagration, flood, earthquake, explosion, war, bombing, acts of the enemy or any other natural or man-made calamity or disaster or by reason of threats or occurrences of riots, routs, affrays or other acts of civil disobedience which endanger life or property within the city, or the unincorporated areas of the county, or portion thereof, the mayor or chairman of the board of supervisors, if authorized by ordinance or resolution, may by proclamation declare an emergency or a local emergency to exist.
B. If an emergency is declared pursuant to subsection A, the mayor or the chairman of the board of supervisors shall, during such emergency, govern by proclamation and shall have the authority to impose all necessary regulations to preserve the peace and order of the city, town, or unincorporated areas of the county, including but not limited to:
1. Imposition of curfews in all or portions of the political subdivision.
2. Ordering the closing of any business.
3. Closing to public access any public building, street, or other public place.
4. Calling upon regular or auxiliary law enforcement agencies and organizations within or without the political subdivision for assistance.
5. Notifying the constitutional officers that the county office for which they are responsible may remain open or may close for the emergency.
C. In periods of local emergency, including an emergency declared pursuant to subsection A of this section, political subdivisions have full power to provide mutual aid to any affected area in accordance with local ordinances, resolutions, emergency plans or agreements therefor.
D. State agencies may provide mutual aid, including personnel, equipment and other available resources to assist political subdivisions during a local emergency in accordance with emergency plans or at the direction of the governor.

It seems that the events playing out locally and internationally seem to follow a pattern in a movie that came out in 2000. Star Wars The Phantom Menace is a pretty accurate description There is a shadow government pulling the strings of our puppet politicians, while at the same time manipulating our media to keep us uninformed. What the hell is going on in Quartzite? I just turned on the computer to check out the activities this winter.. and see that Quartzsite is now a Nazi environment. Doesn’t sound like a relaxing winter destination to me. Please get your act together Quartzsite! I have spent the lst 8 winters there and loved it. A SF Bay area resident.
