Agenda 21 Coming To A Farm Near You As Federal Government Moves To Ban Family Farms

The U.S. Department of Transportation, in an Agenda 21 style order, has moved to essentially ban a large part of family farms.

For hundreds of years family farms have been passed from generation to generation and it has been a way of life for younger family members to learn and work on their farms.

New rules being prepared in Washington could change that forever.

Apparently discussions are now under way to require farmers to have a commercial drivers license to operate farming equipment. This would require farm owners to hire expensive commercial drivers instead of using members of their family.

The time-honored initiation into working the family farm could one day be a thing of the past, with discussions underway in Washington to require operators of farm equipment to have a commercial driver’s license, or CDL.

Ned Meister’s work in agriculture began similarly at the age of ten.  Meeting with News Channel 25 Wednesday at the Texas Farm Bureau, Meister explained the critical role of family on the farm.

“The vast majority of our farms are family farms, operators of equipment are usually family members, and if [those changes] were to take place, that would eliminate some of the family participation in the farm operation.”

*******

Farmers also fear the prospect of replacing family help with expensive professional drivers, something that could end up costing everyone — if it doesn’t break the bank.

“When you consider salaries and benefits and all the other things that go with hiring people that otherwise would have been doing by your family, well it’s just a more expensive proposal,” says Meister.

This is clearly an outright attack on family owned farms and would be a huge benefit to large scale GMO companies such as Monsanto.

This is also part of the systematic deindustrialization of America.

If we continue to let politicians, corporations, and lobbyists control our food supply, the American people will soon have no choice but to eat GMO food from large corporate farms or go hungry.

These plans line up directly with the United Nations Agenda 21 which is now being implemented worldwide.

Our country is under full scale attack by bureaucratic world government type globalists who are openly working to destroy the American way of life in favor of a totalitarian police state.

Although I do understand what you are saying, this isn’t the end of family farming. They don’t have to hire commercial drivers for their farms and I’m not sure why that is portrayed as the only option. The more economical option is to just go out and get a CDL license themselves. It isn’t that hard to do and it isn’t very expensive. Then the farmers can operate their own equipment. Duh.

    • SWIFT says:

No state that I am aware of, issues CDL’s to 10-12 year olds. Duh!

    • Alfred E. Newman says:

Most of us stopped using the trite and totally worn out word? duh in the sixties.

    • Rachel says:

A bigger problem is that ‘they’ are telling us what to do on our own farmland. That is not right!!! It is our property and to require us to do something on our own land is unconstitutional. I personally know 12 yr olds that help with the hay season that can drive a tractor better than me (and yes, I’m over 18!).

      • Marc says:

With all due respect, ALL Municipal councils, City Halls, etc., Globally already require you to get planning/building permits for Barns, Homes, Sheds, etc., so they ARE already telling you what to do on your own property. And I’m sure most tewelve year olds are capable of driving tractors but some are not and that is the real reason this law is going to be implemented and revenue raising with a touch of Bullying.

        • Gary says:

With all due respect, most farms are located in rural areas, not municipalities or cities, and do not fall under the jurisdiction of such. City halls and municipal councils control zoning in towns and cities, not out in unincorporated areas. The reason for implementing any such idiotic law as this can only be to further the control of the police state and condition the american people to further unconstitutional restrictions of our rights.

    • Eduard says:

It’s an added expense that requires logging of travel time. So, it is not simply a matter “to go out and get a CFL license…” Small to mid-sized farmer’s profit margins are small and even smaller as a result of the current economy. They are barely hanging on to their lands that their fathers developed. You could say they are under duress. This senseless “idea” is a perfect example why a far away bureaucracy cannot EVER effectively rule locally.

    • Kim says:

It’s harder then you’d think to get a cdl.

    • Kim says:

And there are different rules concerning the log book. I don’t think you have to keep one if you drive within a 100 mile radius. But it’s still a ridiculous law!!! Insane!! What is wrong with our leadership? Not sure how much more I can take.

    • Paul Bartron says:

I have a CDL which costs about $4,000 to obtain after you have paid for the schooling. A farm is private land not public and therefore a farmer does not have to obtain a license to drive on private land. Transporting the farm produce is different since that is done on public roads. Requiring a farmer to obtain a CDL to drive on his own property rejects the idea that he owns private land. Before trucks we had horses and nobody ever needed a license to drive a horse. There was no such a thing as a DUI since a horse could find its way back to the barn even if you were too drunk.

    • Saltherring says:

Fools like you, Cajen, will regret supporting oppressive, unnecessary regulations such as this when you become totally dependent on multi-national corporations to feed your sorry ass.

This proposed regulation is nothing about safety and all about heavy-handed, jack-booted control over a segment of the population that has resisted the Obongo-mandated conversion from citizen to ‘we the sheeple’.

    • Ron says:

      To Cajen;
First and foremost you make the claim that (Farmers) can just get a CDL. For the most part that is partially correct except in the case where the majority of Family Farms are operated by Family members below the age of 16. Now the head of the household known as the (Husband/Farmer) has to hire someone over the age of 16 otherwise know as an young adult or adult to operate the farming equipment, therefore costing him (The Farmer) additional dollars that the family farm cannot afford.
First if one wants to avoid the issue of licensing then one needs to operate as a traveler, not a driver! As long as it is his own equipment and not used for commercial use, he the (Farmer) is exempt. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled on this issue numerous times, which by the way has never been overturned.
Second point as long as the (Farmer) operates on his own property he the (Farmer) is exempt from licensing. The sheriff is precluded from going on private property and asking someone if they have a license and besides that if the (Farmer) is operating the equipment on a highway the sheriff or police have to have probable cause first, before they the sheriff or police ask someone or in this case the (Farmer) anything.
First question to you Sir or Miss (Cajen) are you that ignorant that you can’t see what is happening in this country and abroad?
Second Question why are you afraid of using your real name?
Comment I guess it’s so you won’t be ostracized by your peers in showing your ignorance.

  2. Jerry Alexander says:

Who are the people that are doing this?Do they live next door to you?
Who are they? Where do they live?Do you know any of them? Are they real?
I don`t understand how the very people that are helping to destroy America can just walk around freely, and do the things they do to us…who are these people?
Do they have families?Do they have Children?Who are these people?
If you have a neighbor that is one of these people maybe you should have a nice talk with them…point them out to the rest of your neighbors.Make it known who they are,and what they are doing to us.Talk to them when you see them in your grocery store…let everyone know who they are,and what they are doing to our country..Take off the mask, and they will hide in some dark place.

  3. Chad says:

As long as you want to be a US/federal citizen (and a Socialist Security card-carrier), you must do whatever your MASTER desires. Those who accept the benefits, must accept the burdens.

  4. John Dennison says:

Time to disobey the government thugs and tell them they aren’t the bosses of America. Uh uh! The cops aren’t our bosses either.

  5. Observantone says:

I’d bet my house that Monsanto is behind this.

  6. Robert Dent says:

I think all the farmers within driving distance should take one or two days off from their farms and drive their equipment down the roads and freeways to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and PARK THEM RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE..!!
Tell the DMV idiots that they want to take their test……right now..!!

  7. Frank says:

A direct violation of the 4th Amendment. Fight it. It is your property. Read the Constitution.

  8. Tom says:

They’ll lose control if we go back to being self sufficient. Remember Gore’s greenhouse gases..taxing cow poops.

  9. Jay says:

As soon as I could reach the pedals of the tractor( age 5 )- my dad had me driving it almost daily. I sold fruit and vegetables by the road side from the time I was 6 till I was into my 20s. I had my own co-op account by the time I was 14 as well as running my parents co-op account. I had a mining license by the time I was 15 and knew how to drive left hand drive and right hand drive vehicles by the time I was 16. Whoever is trying to write these laws are more stupid than a pile of manure and probably have more DUI’s than Satan himself.Sheeeeeeeeesh!!!!!!

    • Marc says:

Not every family is as logical as yours. So they’ll use those stupid ones to show the city sheeple that farm life needs more cotton wool in the form of more laws. At least the amish farmers wont have this problem, they’ve got Fed’s telling them there milk is illegal. PS Satan is EVERY evil act humanity does as God is EVERY good act. Whose winning?

  10. REB says:

A license is a permission slip…teacher may I…? I built my house without any permits…much less my house and barms/shed!
Some morons out there think permits are a good thing…commie bassturds@! America was founded on personal liberty and personal sovereignty…though I understand ther isnt one person in a thousand today in this dumbed down United State. that understands what that means or comprehends mkinding their own business…things keep going to hell here and soon all hell is going to break loose and it wont be the supporters of the state or the state itself that is left standing…govts corporations and nosey people are gonna have their asses handed to then right before they get their heads handed to them…then we can start over in the Republic as it was before retards got to be so numerous!
