Who’s Covering Up El Hierro’s Quakes?

An interesting article came out on the AP two hours ago reporting a 4.3 EQ has just rattled El Hierro.

Most of their events have been in the 1.5 – 2.5 mag. range, with a couple of mid-Richter 3′s. This is the largest shake in the over 9,950 temblors since July 19.

According to Irish Weather Online, the mayor of El Hierro, David Cabrera, confirmed in an interview on Radio Iron Garoé that an ‘underwater eruption’ is taking place about 900 metres beneath the sea surface and 3 miles south of La Restinga.

The eruption, which has been ongoing for 4 hours, was triggered when a fissure opened after the 4.3 quake struck just off El Hierro’s coast yesterday.

It’s not clear at this time if the volcano is spewing gas or lava. However, gases were detected 600 meters below the sea and about 7 miles from the La Restinga.

This is the first eruption since 1971, when the Teneguía volcano created a new crater.

The National Geographic Institute, which records all the Canary Island volcanic and seismic activity, measured the event at 4.4 mag. Small difference, but monitors closer to an epicenter usually show the magnitude slightly higher.

This morning when checking 7 reporting sites: USGS, IRIS, Google Earth, GFZ Potsdam, Switzerland’s Red Puma, and Germany’s EQ Mashup, only Europe’s ESMC shows it. The first 6 show NO quake activity whatsoever on El Hierro for the last three months. Zip. Zero. Nada.

NONE of the nearly 10,000 quakes show up on Google Earth, no matter how big the map is enlarged. Then again, Google Earth uses a USGS feed for quake reports and it shows a totally clean slate for the Canaries. Right…. It’s as though none of the massive number of quakes has happened.

Even though USGS does not show quakes less than Richter 4.5 for Worldwide events, with a swarm this massive one would think the Canary events would garner some attention. However, Red Puma has no such excuse and though IRIS records events down to 4.0, they nothing show on their maps.

In this image below, red dot quakes are less than 2 days old, blue dots are 2-4 days, cyan dots are over 4 days and the pink diamond locates the last event. You can see quakes are progressing to the Northeast – with any shock waves angled away from Cumbre Vieja.

Looks like she’s geared to blow. God help us if it’s a big one.

I’ve been watching this issue for a while. True, there is nothing on google earth. I was very surprised, especially when they report any other earthquake anywhere else. They showed little earthquakes in between dominican republic and puerto rico, alaska, japan, etc. but nothing in the canary islands. I found information in the sismologic spanish agency web page from the begining. They keep track of anything that is going on in there. http://www.01.ign.es/ign/layoutIn/volcaListadoTerremotos.do?zona=2&cantidad_dias=10
It is in spanish but very easy to follow. Link for the event information:

I don’t know why they hide this but smells very, very, very fishy to me. The don’t want people to panic? Two weeks ago, the island goverment evacuated parts of the island. Something not too good is about to happen… They talk about a possible tsunami wave of up to 1 mile high!!! It would take about 8 hours to reach all the east coast of the american continent including the caribbean islands. By the time it gets here in the east coast US it will be around 300 ft. high, sweeping between 25 and 30 miles inland.

  3. You do realise that there’s an average of over 1,000 earthquakes a day worldwide? Like half a million a year. They don’t put the tiny ones on these sites because then you wouldn’t see the big ones among the hoards of tiny ones.
El Hierro has had precisely ONE earthquake of over 4.0 on the Richter scale, so you’re not missing thousands of reports, you’re missing ONE. I don’t know how often they update these places.

To the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever talked of a mile high tidal wave. Even the widely overhyped tidal wave on from La Palma was only going to be 600m high as it left La Palma, and 20 ft high as it reached the USA. And did you know that the “research” for that tidal wave was paid for by a company which sells tsunami insurance in the USA? And the science is very, very dubious. I am slightly biased residing on LINY, and not the least bit parrinoid of the SHI(satans human instruments)witholding info.I have sent two emails directly to NYC police commissioner Kelly on El Herrio. I don’t know if the tsunami waves will be 5 meters or 100, what concerns me is the public awareness by the news media,it dosen’t exist and this plays right into the agenda, populaton reduction, by hook or by crook. The info is out there, NOAA has 39 DART bouys deployed, 30 in the Pacific, 6 in the Gulf, 2 along the East Coast and 1(one) in the north Atlantic 1/3 distance from shore. This means in the event of an Island mountain land slip/tsunami the only timely information will be from EMSC and RSOE EDIS. By the time the 1(one) Dart bouy gets hit by the tsunami waves they will be 2 hours from ETA. This is assuming there is no malfunction in the 1(one) Atlantic DART bouy. The very, very best part of this physcotic excersise in needless human destruction is the White House Situation Room has live video feeds from orbiting military satelites. They will be watching the waves make landfall and flood inland. Gary Heart and Ziegneff Zubrinsky at the CFR will be cheering, another 500,000 dead and cities destroyed. Does this sound like the twlight zone, welcome you have entered.

The Canary civil authorites have raised the alert level to red, they will begin evacuations soon. They expect the eruption to continue and develope into a new island. There are many unknowns, what impact this will have on the other islands is uncertain. For real time info goto CANARIAS7.net it will translate into english, also monitor EMSC, and, RSOE EDIS.
There is a group of scientists who have debunked the claims of a pending fault/mountain slip/tsunami threat on La Palma as fairy tails.
A wise man seek multiple council, and errors on the side of caution. This event need’s to be monitored by anyone residing on the east coast of the USA.
We are less than negligent to assume the civil authorities in the USA will alert us to a real disaster, they are the same authorities who destroied the trade center and murdered over 3,000 american non combatants.
