Fans of the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot can rejoice, especially if you are still waiting for new content to drop. We already know that the upcoming DLC is going to be called Trunks: The Warrior of Hope, and we have had some details on the DLC in the past, but the latest information that we have tells us about how the DLC is going to bring a new gameplay mechanic called Android Assault.
According to Bandai Namco, the new mechanic is going to force players to avoid or destroy the drones that will be patrolling the field. Failure to do so will result in the drones sounding off the alarm, and if the alarms are sounded off, the players are going to be forced to fight both the Android 17 and Android 18.
This is what the official word from Bandai Namco has to say,
The third DLC of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, will introduce a new mechanic: Android Assault! Avoid or destroy the drones patrolling the field before they sound the alarm, or be prepared to face Android 17 and 18!
In addition to that, a bunch of new screenshots about the new DLC were also shared on the Twitter account that you can check by going over here.
For those wondering, the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot has been out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One since last year and received good reviews, especially from the fans of the series. While the game does end up getting stagnant at one point, a new stream of content in the game is always great to have, to begin with.
As for the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: The Trunks: The Warrior of Hope, this DLC will be releasing on all the platforms later this year in the Summer and will be available around the world. As the name suggests, this DLC will allow you to explore the famous Trunks arc and possibly take control of Trunks as well.
