The entire gaming world is looking forward to the one even to rule them all and that is E3, or Electronic Entertainment Expo, one of the largest exhibition for video games around the world and today, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has finally gone ahead and announced the date for E3 that is taking place this year.
The E3 2021 is going to take place on June 12th later this year, and the exhibition will be going till June 15th. Now, it is important to understand that because of the ongoing pandemic, the event is going to be digital-only. However, the good news is that the event is going to be free, which means that you can join without having to pay any admission fee.
As far as the plans are concerned, the ESA does hope that E3 would come back as a live, physical event at the Los Angeles Convention Center in June 2022.
Virtual streams as well as announcements are going to be available through various video platforms, as well as through the E3 2021 portal, along with supported mobile apps. As far as the announcements, you can look forward to big names making an appearance.
We have a few names already including Xbox, Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, and Koch Media. These companies will be coming to the event and displaying their games and sharing interesting information about the plans revolving around their current projects.
As far as other big names like Sony, Square Enix, and EA are concerned, they are most likely going to hold their showcases, as they have done in the past. In addition to that, it is also important to know that there could be press-exclusive pre-E3 media days that are going to run from June 7th to June 11th, this means that there could be some exclusive tidbits we might be able to share with you.
