Battlefield franchise is one of the best when you are looking for first-person multiplayer games and just today, DICE has finally decided to talk about the upcoming Battlefield and it seems like that they are working on two different Battlefield games for the future.
The first one is going to be the one that we have been waiting for for some time now. This is going to be the main instalment that is going to launch on PC, as well as the current generation of consoles. The rumours so far have pointed that the game is going to release this year around the Holiday season which makes sense since both Battlefield and Call of Duty games released around the same time.
In addition to that, EA and DICE also spilt some interesting information on Battlefield that will be exclusive to mobile platforms but will launch somewhere in 2022. This might seem like a rushed decision that is unnecessary, but when you are looking at the popularity of mobile gaming and how gaming smartphones have become the centre stage for a lot of people, it makes sense.
DICE and EA were sneaky about the details that they revealed on both games but have talked us about how they will be revealing more about the upcoming Battlefield ‘soon’
At the time of writing, there is no official word on what the game is going to be about or the setting that DICE and EA are aiming for but the company did reveal who is going to be helming the project and worry not. The next Battlefield is being developed by two of the most beloved developers Criterion and DICE LA, and EA has promised how they are looking forward to delivering a “jaw-dropping” experience for all of us later this year.
We will of course reveal more details as they follow through. You can read more about the upcoming Battlefield projects here.
