Monster Hunter series is one of the most critically acclaimed series of action roleplaying games that you can play at the time of writing and Monster Hunter Rise is the latest installment by Capcom, a highly revered Japanese developer who has brought us the likes of Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, and many more games.
Capcom has revealed today that Monster Hunter Rise has shipped over 5 million copies around the world since it was launched less than two weeks ago. The game was launched on Nintendo Switch and it seems that the users of the handheld consoles were ready to get started with Monster Hunter Rise.
For those who do not recall, Monster Hunter World was launched on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. If you are looking forward to playing the latest installed on PC, the game is going to be releasing in early 2022. However, at the time of writing, you can always play the game through emulators, even though the performance might not be the same as you would get on Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter Rise throws you into the beautiful Kamura village which represents a beautiful mountain region with people from all backgrounds and unique technology. Players are tasked to track down and battle fierce monsters who are threatening the world around them. There are a lot of old and new game mechanics that are a part of the game.
One of the new features is a wire-based grappling action that will allow you to use all new tricks up your sleeve. The game also announces new hunting partners, a lot of personalization options, new beasts, as well as a plethora of new attacks.
