Capcom has finally unveiled that the final demo of Resident Evil Village is going to be available for a full week. For those interested, the demo is available for downloading right now on both Xbox and Steam. Previously, a different demo was available for only PS4 and PS5 owners but that was only available for 24 hours, which did not sit well with a lot of people, and therefore, Capcom has decided to expend the timeframe for the latest demo which is also going to be the last one.
For starters, this demo is going to be available on multiple platforms, and will be lasting a whole week. The demo will be available on starting from May 1st 5:00PM – May 9th 4:59PM Pacific, and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Stadia, and Steam.
Players are only getting an hour, in which they will be given a choice to explore either the Village or Castle area. You can see the official timing in the tweet below for various regions. Of course, the demo is going to open based on the region but still, it is nice to have an idea. See more on Twitter.
For those who are not familiar with Resident Evil Village, it is going to be based on the same formula that made Resident Evil 7 such a hit. This game is also in the first-person mode, and this time around, you are exploring a lot of different abnormalities including vampires and werewolves.
Players will be reprising the role of Ethan Winters, and if that name is familiar to you, he is the same Ethan from Resident Evil 7. However, series favorites including Chris Redfield are also making a return. Resident Evil Village is going to release on May 7th, later this year, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, Google Stadia, Microsoft Windows.
