10 Ways We Are Being Tracked, Traced, and Databased

The war on terror is a worldwide endeavor that has spurred massive investment into the global surveillance industry – which now seems to be becoming a war on “liberty and privacy.”  Given all of the new monitoring technology being implemented, the uproar over warrantless wiretaps now seems moot.

High-tech, first-world countries  are being tracked, traced, and databased, literally around every corner.  Governments, aided by private companies, are gathering a mountain of information on average citizens who so far seem willing to trade liberty for supposed security.  Here are just some of the ways the matrix of data is being collected:

GPS — Global positioning chips are now appearing in everything from U.S. passports, cell phones, to cars.  More common uses include tracking employees, and for all forms of private investigation.  Apple recently announced they are collecting the precise location of iPhone users via GPS for public viewing in addition to spying on users in other ways.

Internet — Internet browsers are recording your every move forming detailed cookies on your activities.  The NSA has been exposed as having cookies on their site that don’t expire until 2035.  Major search engines know where you surfed last summer, and online purchases are databased, supposedly for advertising and customer service uses.  IP addresses are collected and even made public.  Controversial websites can be flagged internally by government sites, as well as re-routing all traffic to block sites the government wants to censor. It has now been fully admitted that social networks provide NO privacy to users while technologies advance for real-time social network monitoring is already being used.  The Cybersecurity Act attempts to legalize the collection and exploitation of your personal information.  Apple’s iPhone also has browsing data recorded and stored.  All of this despite the overwhelming opposition to cybersurveillance by citizens.

RFID — Forget your credit cards which are meticulously tracked, or the membership cards for things so insignificant as movie rentals which require your SSN.  Everyone has Costco, CVS, grocery-chain cards, and a wallet or purse full of many more.  RFID  “proximity cards” take tracking to a new level in uses ranging from loyalty cards, student ID, physical access, and computer network access.  Latest developments include an RFID powder developed by Hitachi, for which the multitude of uses are endless — perhaps including tracking hard currency so we can’t even keep cash undetected. (Also see microchips below).

Traffic cameras – License plate recognition has been used to remotely automate duties of the traffic police in the United States, but have been proven to have dual use in England such as to mark activists under the Terrorism Act.  Perhaps the most common use will be to raise money and shore up budget deficits via traffic violations, but uses may descend to such “Big Brother” tactics as monitors telling pedestrians not to litter as talking cameras already do in the UK.

Computer cameras and microphones — The fact that laptops — contributed by taxpayers — spied on public school children (at home) is outrageous.  Years ago Google began officially to use computer “audio fingerprinting” for advertising uses.  They have admitted to working with the NSA, the premier surveillance network in the world.  Private communications companies already have been exposed routing communications to the NSA.  Now, keyword tools — typed and spoken — link to the global security matrix.

Public sound surveillance — This technology has come a long way from only being able to detect gunshots in public areas, to now listening in to whispers for dangerous “keywords.” This technology has been launched in Europe to “monitor conversations” to detect “verbal aggression” in public places.  Sound Intelligence is the manufacturer of technology to analyze speech, and their website touts how it can easily be integrated into other systems.

Biometrics — The most popular biometric authentication scheme employed for the last few years has been Iris Recognition. The main applications are entry control, ATMs and Government programs. Recently, network companies and governments have utilized biometric authentication including fingerprint analysis, iris recognition, voice recognition, or combinations of these for use in National identification cards.

DNA — Blood from babies has been taken for all people under the age of 38.  In England, DNA was sent to secret databases from routine heel prick tests.  Several reports have revealed covert Pentagon databases of DNA for “terrorists” and now DNA from all American citizens is databased. Digital DNA is now being used as well to combat hackers.

Microchips — Microsoft’s HealthVault and VeriMed partnership is to create RFID implantable microchips.  Microchips for tracking our precious pets is becoming commonplace and serves to condition us to accept putting them in our children in the future.  The FDA has already approved this technology for humans and is marketing it as a medical miracle, again for our safety.

Facial recognition Anonymity in public is over.  Admittedly used at Obama’s campaign events, sporting events, and most recently at the G8/G20 protests in Canada. This technology is also harvesting data from Facebook images and surely will be tied into the street “traffic” cameras.

All of this is leading to Predictive Behavior Technology — It is not enough to have logged and charted where we have been; the surveillance state wants to know where we are going through psychological profiling.  It’s been marketed for such uses as blocking hackers.  Things seem to have advanced to a point where a truly scientific Orwellian world is at hand.  It is estimated that computers know to a 93% accuracy where you will be, before you make your first move.   Nanotech is slated to play a big role in going even further as scientists are using nanoparticles to directly influence behavior and decision making.

Many of us are asking:  What would someone do with all of this information to keep us tracked, traced, and databased?  It seems the designers have no regard for the right to privacy and desire to become the Controllers of us all.

If they are tracking/tracing me then they need to stop people from hacking and spamming my accounts…

The Mark of the Beast is the New World Order system the implantable chip is in the healthcare that was recently passed. Don’t accept the chip it is the System of the Antichrist!

One of the most important indicators of abuse is denial. One of the most important idicators that abuse will occur is when someone tries to gain control over you. “I’m not going to hurt you,” and, “I’m doing this to protect you,” are among the most reliable indicators that someone is going to do something to you that you will consider to be abuse.

It real simple “Electromagnetically” blankout the chips from car credit card or any other RFID.

So, is there a solution to getting out of being tracked, traced and databased? If so, I’d like to hear about it.

    • Alex says:

      Mary Ann,

That is a great question and a very important one. We need to NOT live in fear but also not live in complete denial. We are witnessing the initiation of a total police state grid that should not be taken lightly. Get involved LOCALLY. Stop these measures in YOUR area.

And they told me it was to make sure my baby didn’t have anything wrong with it when they pricked his heel! That was 17 years ago. How disgusting this out of control govt of the uSA has become!
Time for the peasants to rise up! We’re (some of us) are mad as hell and don’t want to take anymore!
Every damn day something else happens to our freedom/choice. Maybe all of those big pharma mind numbing drugs should be taken off the market.
Most welcomed the technology of the internet, cellphones, video games, the almighty wi-fi, etc without question of how it could harm us. It’s all good, it won’t harm you and now studies are telling a different story. Good luck!

Some say the *sixth sound in the hebrew alphabet is Wha, so, every time you plug into a website address, its Wha-Wha-WHa or 666. Meanwhile the JWs don’t view “the beast” as a big cheeze world dictator, but as the overall system. And this system does seem to be becoming more beastly every day. “No man may buy or sell w/o the mark of the beast, 666″- meanwhile more and more purchases are done online. If we went cashless, even w/o a chip, every purchase would be tied into the WWWeb, and therefore tied to 666, the mark of the beast. So Im respecting the JWs point on this more and more.

*Anyone know if that is true?

  8. This project of the NWO wont be completed.

They tried once before, centuries ago, with Nimrod buiding the Tower of Babel – and Jehovah God intervened, confused their language & they couldn’t communicate to complete thier scheme, so they left off from building it & dispersed.

This time, however, Jehovah God, via Jesus Christ & his army of angelic hosts, will destroy this entire sick system, including false religion (Babylon the Great), the greedy corporations & commercial system & the wicked governmental structure.

God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind, because Satan rules this world via human agencies. Even if the whole world banded together to remove the oppression, it will only be replaced by another imperfect structure which will only become just as corrupt, given time – that’s imperfect human nature for you. But as long as Satan remains in power, then it’s a wasted endeavour. That’s why the only way to remove this system is to remove it from the top down, starting with Satan, and only Jesus is powerful enough to handle that assignment.

So, we are in the last days of this system of things and Jesus is about to destroy the entire counterfeit new world order dream, which is Satan’s scheme to rule over mankind via his cohorts at the top of the human food chain, as it were.

Just like the Titanic, people need to recognise the iceberg that’s about to hit, and get into the lifeboats before the ship goes down – otherwise denial will have cost people their lives and, unfortunately, far too many people will be in denial, until the last minute, when it will be too late to respond to the warning.

The lifeboat is to reconcile with Jehovah God via the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to keep our integrity to God and to encourage, or awaken, others to the emergency mankind is in, before it is too late. How they choose to respond, however, is up to them. Free will, and all that. You cannot force anyone to wake up and flee to safety – they have to want to do it themselves, from their own hearts.

    That’s it, in a nutshell. x

    WTF ? – CENSORSHIP SUCKS!

  10. Charlie says:

I treasure my privacy, more than most. I hate surveillance. But what annoys me even more are those news sources which actually try to deceive the public. I mean, it’s one thing when a news story is wrong due to a lack of care or understanding by the publishers, but it really speaks volumes to the (lack of) trustworthiness of those in positions of power when they try to feed us misinformation. The goal could only be to try to manipulate the uninformed and ignorant public by placing thoughts into their subconscious with their scare tactics.

Granted, the average punter is all too happy to be told what to think and virtually no-one will actually check the facts. But the publishers must think their audience are total sheep who won’t question anything they’re told if they expect us to swallow their deception without some sort of backlash.

For instance, I was reading an article just recently talking about how we’re all being tracked through technology. One example was the use of GPS. Anyone who knows about this technology realises that all it does is tell the unit where in the world it is, nobody else. That requires it to be broadcast. It’s like claiming that listening to the radio lets others hear what you’re saying. It even referenced an article that GPS is in passports now, but the referenced article never even mentions GPS (it was RFID in the passports).

Then the article went on to say that browsers are recording your every move by keeping cookies. So what? It’s like you keeping a journal of your appointments. Nobody is tracking you through these, as the information is stored with you and not readily available to observers.

Yep. The article went on and on with one misleading “fact” after another. I sometimes wish there were some rules – similar to advertising standards – that publishers weren’t allowed to intentionally mislead the viewers. Whenever I read something, I ask myself “are they trying to inform me, or to persuade me?”.

And after all the lies about us being tracked, when I wanted to leave a comment on the web site (which was asking me to say what I was thinking) I couldn’t do so until I had provided them with some personal information.

    Ironic, huh??

So, go forth and tell all your friends to watch out for these propaganda sites. If they are pretending to uncover the truth, but actually make an effort to deceive, it’s best that the word is spread that they should be avoided.

I know I’m going to think hard before believing anything I read on that site again!

  11. Charlie says:

Addendum to my last comment. Mind you, not sure if my last comment will make it on the web site due to censorship issues (I criticised an organisation in a position of deciding who can post on these sites).

Anyways, apart from needing to provide personal details before being allowed to post a comment, it appears that not only does this site use cookies to track whether you’ve visited here before, it also uses two other tracking services to keep statistics on the visitors.

Is anyone reminded of policies similar to the US government? “We don’t like the way you handle your affairs, but permit us to do the same thing in order to bring you freedom.”

    :-\
