Update: NASA is now claiming that there will be DECREASED solar activity in the coming years. It is clear that SOMEONE is lying.

In a stunning announcement, The United States and United Kingdom are likely set to began “controlled” power cuts in preparation of a giant solar storm.
The announcement by Thomas Bogdan, the director of the US Space Weather Prediction Centre, comes a week after a large scale solar flare released a massive amount of radiation and threatened to cause moderate disruption.
The solar flare on June 7th, 2011 was luckily pointed away from Earth but caused many to wonder if another solar flare is imminent, this one aimed directly at earth.
Now, due to the possibility of a large scale solar flare, officials in Europe and the United Kingdom are preparing what they call, “controlled” power cuts. What this actually means remains to be seen.
In an interview with The Independent, Bogdam was quoted as saying, “controlled power “outages” will protect the National Electricity Grids against damage which could take months or even years to repair should a large solar storm collide with the Earth without any precautions being taken.”
Interestingly enough, this information also comes just days after NASA sent out a preparedness warning to all employees and their families.
Last year NASA warned about that solar flares were on course to cause massive devastation.
“Senior space agency scientists believe the Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes “from a deep slumber” sometime around 2013,” The Daily Telegraph reported in 2010.
Scientific America also is also running a compelling article on the subject. The article covers the fact that last weeks solar flare has “illuminated” the power grids vulnerabilities and reflects on the outcome of a massive solar storm.
“If the solar storm of 1921, which has been termed a one-in-100-year event, were to occur today, well over 300 extra-high-voltage transformers could be damaged or destroyed, thereby interrupting power to 130 million people for a period of years,” Joseph McClelland, director of the Office of Electric Reliability at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, said at a May 31 House Energy subcommittee hearing on the issue.
The fact that NASA was partly founded by former Nazis and has a long history of cover ups also remains very relevant. Is this a real threat for the very near future or is some other sort of space event on that horizon?

wonder if any of these incompetent dorks at N.A.S.A. (need another seven assholenauts) knows what the fuck STUXNET is?

merely de-energizing the grid, if you understand what the grid is, is not going to save it from this kind of event. the grid is like a giant segmented RADIO ANTENNA SYSTEM in reality, and as the solar flare issue is such a broadband problem not centered in any specific frequency domain particularly, means that just de-energizing the system is not going to save it, albeit it would in some cases improve the margins perhaps on some of the equipment (only in phase voltage increases on top of the 60 hz waveform will cause significant ADDITION to the line voltage, by the way!)
there are no mechanisms I know of that would act as giant ‘snubbers’ that could absorb and or dissipate these flares on the grid itself…so if they come, yes, disconnecting your home from the grid by pulling the line fuses out of the box IN ADVANCE is not a bad idea, but there is precious little that can be done to protect from this kind of phenomenon, just like there is very little protection from EMP events from high altitude weapons bursts that would do some of the same things but be of far less duration than a solar storm would be.
merely taking the power off the grid is not going to save it, without fully disconnecting every node of every segment of every power network, from the rest of the system, and providing some form of absorptive load for the energy to be dissipated in. even while shut down, the grid still is a huge antenna farm, waiting to take the solar flare blasts, and it is not only impractical to chop it all into segments, but would require an awful lot of induced line trips and actual line personnel disconnections to provide the safety margins we need IF in fact such solar flares are truly what the issues are. I don’t trust these flakes in NASA any further than I can throw Saturn on a good day, and neither should any of you.

The telegraph wire which burned up in 1829 is considered low voltage today and was very small in diameter. Todays conductors are so much bigger and more conductive, no amount of power outages will stop another Carrington event from toasting the grid.

there may have been a time when N.A.S.A. was more scientists than politicians, but those days are so very long gone now. it was bad enough when they were forewarned before they murdered Grissom, White and Chaffee using PURE OXYGEN in a capsule that had all sorts of electrical toggle switches and relays creating arcs that ultimately burnt the crew alive during a practice run, but time after time these same wizards have taken irresponsible and wrong actions when each and every loss of life so far could have easily been averted by using common sense and rational judgements, not doing what was politically expedient or desired. Though space travel is dangerous business, the situations that murdered all ’3′ of these crews, and I do use the term MURDER here, were fully known in advance, and avoidable, had someone actually taken the time to do the math and the physics and see that each time they were forewarned, the warnings were, in fact, quite correct and valid. Senselessly squandering ’3′ crews over the years means that science and politics should NEVER be allowed to mix any more than RELIGION and POLITICS do, for the obvious bad outcomes.
N.A.S.A. is not qualified to make prognostications about matters it neither has the technical expertise, or the genuine academic mind power to either foresee a solar flare problem, or come up with viable and reasonable, effective alternatives or solutions for.
It’s no more than a dog and pony show with has been engineers and political appointee’s in charge, just like most governmental organizations in the U.S., and for that matter, the U.K.

Interesting that this major drop in solar activity comes the DAY after real scientists claim a major solar flare is coming!
This is weird, i tried to post this link onto Facebook, however it says that this link is blocked as it is either abusive or spam. this is a public awareness article, so I let fb know of the error and try and get this posted. i am on NASA’s SOHO site 24/4 and constantly watching for the flares that have been pretty big of late like last weeks. lets hope it doesn’t hit, but it pays to be prepared.
All the current concern and speculation is indeed warranted, but I see this event as an overt means to begin solidifying the world governmental control systems that will be soon used to control the masses once such a solar flare event takes place or when they intentionally use false flag EMP weapons to begin a process of emergencies that puts the federal government in charge of the solution and the masses and everything like internet, TV, radio, cell phones, come to mention it. Everything means martial law.
In such a way, the national or world induced emergency will covertly signal a need for a world wide push for covert but yet genocidal Agenda 21 plans, world depopulation agendas mixed in and with a World War III conflicts with attacks on various cities.
Such a bold move requires complete control over the masses and everything that the masses use to communicate must of course be suspended for the sake of national security.
FEMA camps everywhere will be kept full, and in such a way by using a false flag EMP attack on American cities they can blame it on solar events that also must be timed to some global political objectives that such a grand scheme would be attempting to conceal yet achieve while covertly feeding the beast, the system being developed and refined for the day it is used on the unsuspecting masses. We are indeed faced with many future celestial space dangers and while all the truth has not been forthcoming from the mainstream media, at least the alternative media discusses it and for that I thank them.
The solar event is a real scientific fact if it occurs, but during such an event, I feel the federal government that everyone has learned not to trust, is stepping up to the home plate with a big chess-er cat grin and saying, “trust us. we’re the federal government”, we’re here to save you. Trust FEMA, they are your friends.

It is humanity that they seek to destroy and if some space comet, asteroid, brown dwarf star can cause natural havoc, then they will use such natural havoc to add hidden deaths that benefits their desired ability for complete control with complete life and death options being available to them over the surviving masses and kept hidden of course up to the point of being moved into the death camps.
“Planetary Sheep” to the slaughter is what they seek and so we must stay alert for more proof of their madness. For although they are are insane with greed and power, they are agreed upon a world move to human depopulation and all the control that comes with such a complete power over others is being shown to us if we will only consider the bigger nefarious picture that such a solar event could contain.

What many people still do not understand is that the government of the good ole’ USA has become infested with satanist. And each event that causes cataclysmic results that cause death, destruction, pain, loss and terror is seen as an “offering” to their “god(s)”. Not only do they see it as a cause for celebration, but they literally feed off of our fear. It is massive energy that they suck from us and literally live off of.
If these CME’s (Coronal Mass Ejections) do occur and we go back to the “dark” ages, then the best thing we can all do is plan on standing together and offering support instead of civil unrest and rioting. This too is what they want (order our of chaos is their motto ~ they create the problem, then ride in with a white hat and offer a solution that restricts your freedoms even more, but offers you their protection ~ sound like the mafia huh?)
Its time we all started to learn how to be self sufficient. We should all learn to hunt and dig a well and learn self defense and teach our children too. Back to the basics. And rebuild the family structure. Learn from the all the lessons we have been taught. With unity we are strong, divided we all fall. This was the plan from the start was to keep us divided. And the greatest divisor of all is FEAR.
