Small Arkansas Town Wants To Ban Free Speech And Freedom Of Assembly, No “Group” Will Be Able To Meet Without Cities Permission

A small Arkansas town of 850 is attempting to ban groups from meeting to talk about the city without first getting permission from the city itself.
In a move reminiscent of Nazi Germany, the Gould, Arkansas City Council has moved to ban all groups from discussing the city, even in their own home!
Mayor Earnest Nas, in strong statements supporting the peoples constitutional rights, said he is willing to go to court to stop this plan.
“This is America and even though this is Gould, Arkansas, this is still part of America. And in America, you can’t just vote and violate peoples constitutional rights,” said Nash.
This ordinance would effectively ban citizens from talking about the city at the dinner table, boy scout meetings, and book clubs. In fact, the ordinance is so Orwellian that the interview that the local Fox affiliate did with the mayor would actually be considered illegal under the proposed city ordinance.
A prominent lawyer looked over the ordinance and immediately deemed it unconstitutional.
John DiPippa, Dean of the Law School at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, expressed disbelief when he first read the proposed law.
“The truth is the city of Gould doesn’t have the authority to tell anyone that they have no right to petition them, no right to speak and no right to exist in their city,” DiPippa told Fox16.
If the precedent is set in Gould, Arkansas it is only a matter of time before it is proposed in a town near you.
If the city council of this town actually believes that they can legally stop citizens from talking about city issues in the privacy of their own home they have another thing coming. This is America not Nazi Germany.

sj, your problem is the same as the rest of America. Our constitution has not been in effect since the thirties. When people wakeup and see the truth then and only then will our countries problems get fixed or looked at in the right light. We are now blind but I hope we’ll see soon before it’s to late. That’s why congress can do the things that they do. The deck is stacked against us, we need to study, learn, an react accordingly. You are right about the Republic but the man, FDR,& congress got around the constitution and now we are suffering the corrupt consequenses of their greed. Really things started going bad when the federal reserve convienced W.Wilson that they could make him look great. Again greed rules. Wake Up America before it’s to late. Maybe already so?

So, just to go the next village and have your meeting there. Save receipts at a restaurant or rented room to prove it. I’m sure they will later make an amendment that no resident can talk anywhere outside the city and bring it back in, but it seems they haven’t thought of that yet. I’ts kind of like how the rich make illegal deals on cruise ships in international waters.
Do people like you ever think things through?? Like with the TSA protesters who just say “dont fly”, like that will solve anything. It was allowed and TSA is now on the buses, trains and soon allowed to come into your home ‘on suspicion only’ by law enforcement agencies.
You never want to confront the issue and take direct action. STAND THE F up and stop this cancer in its tracks right where it has begun! If you dont and find ways to ‘avoid’ it you will be forever running to another town to hide and exercise your God given and constitutional rights.

This is why I propose the Phalanx of Freedom, which is a people’s army. It has a full regular ranking system, but it elects its own commanders. It exists to secure the right to free speech and free assembly, “for us, and our political opponents”. http://www.law4.org/o-5.html Notably this village is too small under this system for direct action, because the system becomes only active from the Brigade level (more then 7000 people). But a Brigade in the area could initiate combat action to secure there rights, if it is properly done through the General, and in concordance with popular will in the nation (or state). The ultimate form of action: a shootout with police, city council members and other citizens who wish to deny others these rights, killing them all, and establishing all relevant freedoms for the survivors. That is (obviously) not the ideal way to save these rights, but just to paint the picture of how far it could go and what it would be prepared to do.
If you had listened to me and get it together, you could have Phalanx members there right now, embedded into the wider Phalanx of Freedom movement. A movement also capable of a) defending the life of Ron Paul and whistle blowers that you let die off right now without even fighting for their lives, and b) it becomes a focus point during revolution and muteny of all who are honorable in the police and armies, to fight against a tyranny.
Note that under this system there is also a more sophisticated model for revolution available (o-4), look into that if you want revolution – these armies are not meant directly to wage revolution (although of course you could do that as well).
