DAHLGREN, Va. – The Navy demonstrated its commitment to “game-changing” directed energy technological programs at the Naval Directed Energy Center (NDEC) ribbon cutting ceremony held at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Sept. 10.
“This ribbon-cutting celebrates NAVSEA’S (Naval Sea Systems Command) investment in the Navy’s future,” NSWC Dahlgren Division Commander Capt. Sheila Patterson told over 200 visitors at the event. “This new Naval Directed Energy Center will double the space available for developing our directed energy programs and provide laboratories, computing spaces and offices to help us get the latest technology to our warfighters as soon as possible and protect them from harm’s way.”
The focus of activity in the new building will be directed energy systems and applications that use electromagnetic energy to project military force and augment conventional capabilities. The 23,000 square foot facility officially opened for business when military and civilian leaders cut the ribbon.

Mysterious sounds and booms continue to be heard throughout the world and the explanations as to what they might be continue to flock in.
The sounds can be described as industrial and mechanical at times and at others they seem to sound bizarre and creepy.
The Extinction Protocol, a blog specializing in covering possible doomsday events, recently released an article detailing the mysterious sounds and what they might be.
The sounds range in description from “bizarre and creepy” to “industrial and mechanical.”
The sounds appear to be omni-directional and seem to have no single traced source of origin or horizontal source of degree graduation- leaving one with the impression they are coming from directly overhead or directly underneath the earth.
Disinformation campaigns have already been launched with claims that ALL the sounds recorded are a large scale hoax through the use of putting the same audio in numerous videos taken throughout the world.
This is clearly NOT the case and this startling information gains even more importance when you consider a disinformation campaign was launched within one day of the story breaking worldwide.

Although there are many more videos than the ones below, just listening to the videos provided paints an eerie picture as to what is happening throughout the world.

Its only a “mystery” because you doubt your own thoughts so much.
Any critical thinker can do some brief research and come up with the very valid theory that it is harmonic resonance due to the runaway frequency increase in our magnetosphere.
Ever play the electric guitar? same principle where instead of strings it is magnetic resonance lines “Leigh lines” being struck.
This also explains the mass avian and aquatic life die off and also the bees. The one thing all these species have in common is an extreme sensitivity to the EM field of the earth. If it changes too fast it would “fry” their resonance material in their brain.

I played rock for several years (guitar) but I never heard one “boom”. I have heard “thumps” but never booms.
The lines you mention if resonating in such a fashion would likely carry through the ground (possible tremors) and then enter the air suddenly in the case of sharp sounds, which are also high frequency. Not only are NOT all the sounds associated with quakes, lower frequency carry much further than high frequency waves.
Perhaps you should head back to the drawing table to see what other pseudo science you can dig up.

Over saturation of microwaves could be the cause. If it is a weapon of mass destruction being redied, there should be a U.N. INVESTIGATION AS TO WHO IS THE CULPRIT.

Keep calm, some of us are using our heads. There is a completely artificial quality to all of the sounds. That ties them together, huh. Ley lines? With the amount of energy required to do this…just the acoustical energy, never mind the source, is huge. I doubt that the old WHO PA setup that did 120 db at 50 yards could even convincingly fake this. These sounds have a musical quality, sometimes. You can hear it drop an octave at one point. I get your overall point but the last thing this is is simple. The sounds in Florida were not unlike a truck-sized impact drill running at 1 hz.
I say it is either massive construction or massive destruction either above 60 miles or deep underground yet vented to the surface.
Knowing that the military has tunnel boring machines and has had them for decades means they have been used…for decades. Some land (like the Western half of Kentucky) are one huge natural cave complex. I would not be surprised if a network of tunnels and bases existed. Every modern military has used underground facilities.
The possibility of complex neurological manipulation using sound and/or radio energy from afar. Note these sounds seem to be coming from Western-aligned nations, mainly.

Fascinating. I Googled the terms “strange sounds in the sky” and boy oh boy, is there a lot of material out there. My personal opinion is that there is too much material out there for them all to be hoaxes. I do believe there might be some copy cats sprinkled in there, but for the most part, I think there is a strange phenomena going on with these strange sounds around the world. I can’t even begin to make an educated guess on what these might be, therefore I will read and research more. Cheers.
dont normly post but always on lurking around on some site or other..anyway im from deep south ireland,yes that dot in the atlantic and them strange sounds are being heard all over here as well but being played down in the media!!!
also i live in a remote part(quiet country setting)and im seeing a hell of a lot of air traffic(white large planes,big 747 type,no markings that i can see with a high powered telescope)traveling from the west heading east(us to uk??),there was at one stage at least 8 in the sky at once all heading east???i dont live near any aiport,get little or no normal air traffic then a few days ago its now constant 24/7 so this amount in the air here is crazy-way off the normal air traffic routes to shannon or dublin airports??but i dont see them come back my way???another route going back west??who or what are they carrying??
I too have seen many military planes and helicopters over my area in Jasper, Arkansas. The closest airport or military installation is a minimum of 40 miles no matter which direction. I find this not only strange, but strangely coinsidental since we live on different continents. What te Heck is going on???
I live in central New Mexico, and for several months now, i’ve been seeing large airline size planes doing circles overhead and just south of me. More today. I’m in an area with a lot of air traffic but they don’t usually fly in circles, repeatedly. Sometimes 4-5 planes at a time. Don’t think it’s just a military exercise.

Maybe these sounds have some connection to geophysical events. Before an earthquake, animals behave strangely. Maybe there are sounds generated, too. I don’t know, and I don’t know what to believe or think. We have to keep an open mind. It seems like there’s too much for all this to be some kind of hoax.

In Revelations it mentions angels sounding trumpets and the sky

My kids recoded these sounds back on jan 2 2012 while doing a challenge for a youtube vid. We live in NE Oregon. very creepy and it was no hoax.
I think the sounds are originating from the Governments ELF transmissions used to communicate with submarines through the earth, anywhere around the world.Extremely Low Frequency transmission’s are able to penetrate threw the Earth and it’s Oceans.
Military communications
The United States Navy utilized extremely low frequencies (ELFs) as radio band and radio communications. The Submarine Integrated Antena System (SIAS) was a research and development effort to communicate with submerged submarines.[9] The Soviet/Russian Navy also utilized ELFs for submarine communications system, ZEVS.[10]
Explanation
Because of the electrical conductivity of seawater, submarines are shielded from most electromagnetic communications. Signals in the ELF frequency range, however, can penetrate much deeper. Two factors limit the usefulness of ELF communications channels: the low data transmission rate of a few characters per minute and, to a lesser extent, the one-way nature due to the impracticality of installing[dubious – discuss] an antenna of the required size on a submarine (antennas need to be of exceptional size for the users to achieve successful communication). Generally, ELF signals were used to order a submarine to rise to a shallow depth where it could receive some other form of communication.
Difficulties of ELF communication
One of the difficulties posed when broadcasting in the ELF frequency range is antenna size. This is because the antenna must be at least a substantial fraction of the size (in at least one dimension) of the wavelength of the frequency of the EM waves. Simply put, a 1 Hz (cycle per second) signal would have a wavelength equal to the distance EM waves travel through a given medium in 1 second. For ELF, this is very slightly slower than the speed of light in a vacuum. As used in military applications, the wavelength is ~299,792 km (~186,282 mi) per second divided by 50–85 Hz, which equals around 3,527 to 5,996 km (2,192 to 3,726 mi) long; by comparison, Earth’s diameter is around 12,742 km (7,918 mi). Because of this huge size requirement and, to transmit internationally using ELF frequencies, the earth itself must be used as an antenna, with extremely long leads going into the ground. Various other means are taken to construct radio stations with substantially smaller sizes, such as electrical lengthening.
The US maintained two sites, in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Wisconsin and the Escanaba River State Forest, Michigan (originally named Project Sanguine, then downsized and rechristened Project ELF prior to construction), until they were dismantled, beginning in late September 2004. Both sites used long power lines, so-called ground dipoles, as leads. These leads were in multiple strands ranging from 22.5 to 45 kilometres (14.0 to 28 mi) long. Because of the inefficiency of this method, considerable amounts of electrical power were required to operate the system.
Ecological impact
There have been some concerns over the possible ecological impact of ELF signals. In 1984 a federal judge halted construction requiring more environmental and health studies. This judgment was overruled by a federal appeals court on the basis that the US Navy claimed to have spent over 25 million dollars studying the effects of the electromagnetic fields with results indicating that they were similar to the effect produced by standard power distribution lines. The judgment was not accepted by everyone and during the time ELF was in use, some Wisconsin politicians such as Senators Herb Kohl, Russ Feingold and Congressman Dave Obey called for its closure. Similar concerns have in the past been raised about electromagnetic radiation and health.
This is pretty darn elaborate, affecting many remote areas of the globe to be a hoax! Most of the areas affected sound to me to be the same sound. It reminds me of the sounds many of us heard back several months ago when it was reported a Nuke was detonated underground in the US. Not saying there are nukes going off, just that the sound is EERILY similar. Are there any sound techs here that can analyze these sounds and draw some conclusions??
On Aug 23, there were two earthquakes, one in Colorado and one in Virginia. The word is these were underground bunker explosions according to the Russian Foriegn Ministry website. Prior to the explosions, this same sound could be heard and they say this is the release of air pressure from these bunkers. It is a well known sound to the powers that be. There is a clip on youtube of a ballgame in the colorado area where this sound can be heard, and the announcers actually talked about it.

Alright everyone don’t think too much into it but with Nibiru twinkling ever so much more brightly each month as it makes it orbit it is only logically that scalar weapons be implemented to protect our planet from it and the possible asteroids it could have tagging along with it. I had an idea for a scalar weapon using focal points and a laser powered by the suns rays. But my other theory is that NASA has also implemented project blue beam and just like the intel hub has produced about the double sun’s in chinese skies. The color of our atmosphere could just be a projection and the scalar weapons are using automated targeting systems and shooting down possible comets or asteroids that are coming too closely to our planet, proof is I have been seeing an astonishing amount of falling stars and shooting stars. At least 5 falling stars every other night. I live in Missouri the heart of our country. I have heard these strange sounds for the past 5yrs since we moved up into the hills. But imagine if you were watching one of these weapons going off and the actually sound it would make, that is all the evidence you would need. If you have the ability to fathom such a thing. But my closure to you all is that in the end it is never what we expect, so don’t worry because if Nibiru came by 3200 years ago and earth is still here then I expect it to be here still in 2013 just probably won’t look the same.

on this compilation found on youtube under the above name, at the 1 minute mark into the clip, the same sound is heard at a tv broadcast of a major league baseball game with the announcer asking what that haunting noise could possibly be…it was heard over the sounds of a stadium full of people….
Two things. First is: Have you ever heard of Broadcast over Power Lines (BPL)? Art Bell used to rage about it alot and how it would have a negative effect on radio bands. With all those miles of wiring around the world they could theoretically be used as transmission antennae. Perhaps the sounds are a result of BPL.
Second: There is a theory that the earths core is actually a plasma ball and that higher levels of solar activity feed this plasma ball, much like charging a battery. As the ball heats, it melts the inner surface of the crustal layer, making it thinner. When this happens volcanism and crustal fracturing occur more frequently due to an increased level of pressure from the core, causing the earth to expand in diameter. Think of an inflated balloon with a dried layer of paint on it, then add more air pressure to the balloon and watch what happens to the dried paint. Perhaps this internal pressure under the crustal shell is “groaning” due to the pressure, causing the sounds.
Has anyone analyzed the frequency range of the sounds? Do the sounds shift, like octaves in music? Do the sounds impinge on such things as infra red vision, thermal vision and ultra violet vision devices?
My personal hearing was altered from working on jet aircraft, which resulted in hearing range increase in lower frequencies. I often hear a subsonic thrumbing which others say they cannot hear. I have read that others who hear the thrumbing sound have been told it is the sound of diesel engines idling at distances miles away. Possibly true, still, I hear the thrumbing sound and it builds from low, slightly increasing then shutting off abruptly. Sometimes I only notice it when it stops, like a switch being turned off. It is, at best, annoying, but I have not attempted to keep a journal entry of its going on and off to see if there is any kind of pattern.
Yep those are my sentiments aswell, do you or anyone else for that matter remember when the UFO in close encounter of the third kind started to communicate?? Hey everyone, of the few articles I have read online about this topic so far, here’s a theory (hypothesis) that I’d like to propose, that has not been mentioned yet (at least not that I have seen).
“Dimensional Shift”. It is a subtle thing, gradual thing, as the vibrations of earth and it’s inhabitants increases, then we will begin to merge with the higher dimensions. Rising to a higher vibration will cause many unseen things to become visible (and in this case audible). If this hypothesis is true, expect to hear (and see) more wondrous events in the months to come. Anyone who wishes to research the theory of dimensional shift can do a search on Dolores Cannon, for example.
